I have an iPhone 16 (base model) and made the mistake of upgrading to iOS 26. Balatro is super laggy now almost all the time. If I force close all apps, including Balatro, then open it again, the lag will go away temporarily. But it comes back if I close the game and come back later, even with no other apps in the background. Is anybody else dealing with this or not dealing with it? It's horrible!

I've heard the phone can be laggy the first couple days, and it's day two and I'm still getting bad game lag. Hopefully it goes away on its own soon. Super annoyed with Apple right now. Hopefully this saves some fellow Balatro players!

Home was priced at 415k in Albuquerque, decent area. We offered 10k over for it on the day the house went on the market with a 3k appraisal gap guarantee, after getting way outbid on similarly priced homes in the area. Sellers accepted the offer and also disclosed they did an inspection the year before and found various issues, which were all taken care of. (New electric, all new appliances, we were pretty excited.) We still did our own inspection which caught a handful of minor issues, but also a few (potentially) bigger ones:

  1. Mold in a couple areas under sinks.

  2. The AC units use R22 (no longer legal to sell refrigerant) and are a year past their expected lifespan. They are still ful

I’m doing a dark urge run and chose to slaughter the druids in the grove after the cutscene with the tiefling girl who stole the idol. Killed the leader, which caused the druids to clear out into the main camp. Went out there and killed the rest of the druids as well, but now my PC can’t fast travel. Everyone else in the party can but me. I’m not in combat, have no summons, etc. I can travel super far away from the grove manually but still the map is red for the PC. Tried knocking down / helping up my pc. Tried killing and reviving her with a scroll. Even tried killing my PC well outside the grove and having laezel use withers to revive her at camp. Even at camp after reviving, the map is re

I've gone from 264lbs to 162lbs, and am as fit as I have ever been in my life (before and after pics here). I graduated from university in computer science getting nearly straight A's for those 3 years (1 B+) after failing out of my first college in my senior year because of my weed addiction. I've accepted a fully-funded fellowship offer to pursue graduate studies at a top 5 CS program. I've published two scientific papers in my field (computer vision) doing research that could help combat COVID-19. I've been promoted to lead software engineer at a small health tech start-up. I've beg

So many posts on popular groups end up having hundreds of comments that consist of people tagging their friends and nothing else. Even if you sort by 'relevant' it does nothing to change this and all the 'real' comments are scattered throughout. Is there a way to turn off those useless single tag comments so I can actually engage with others who have something to say about those posts?

I’m about to graduate with my BS in CS and ever since I revamped my LinkedIn profile a few months ago I get someone I don’t know connecting with me and reaching out to quickly steer the conversation toward their entrepreneurial network. Usually the conversations go something like this:

Them: Hi ______, it’s nice to connect with you. How have things been for you in these changing times?

Me: some bland but polite response saying things are well and asking them how they are doing

Them: I’m doing well, I work at _____ but also recently got into a side gig/hustle/etc. Do you have anything you’re working on on the side?

Me: *explains I’ve got school, research assistantship, and a job
