I’m trying to determine the minimum cabinet opening size to allow my boxed Christmas tree to pass through with relative ease. The depth to the back of my imaginary cabinet is 29” and I have a 98.5” long space to deal with. I’d like to make symmetrical openings for what will become a place to set my TV/soundbar on. So height I’d like to max out at 26-28 inches i think.

Not a 2” diameter at all specific distance, it would be a circle of light like the outline of an o that extended in a tube for 30 feet or so. Can this be done with fiber optics or something? A sort of work around i thought of would be a jig to hold a bunch of mini laser pointers in a circle shape but that is pretty inelegant i think…

Any ideas? My use case would be to use this as an alignment tool for joining tubes together at any angle/intersection.

I have a 22’ Bolt EUV with 44,465 miles on it. I am the original owner and vehicle sat at dealer for several months waiting for a new battery before I took delivery. Took it to the shop last week because of a scraping noise that would not go away in the front brakes. Really the front right brake. I thought it was surface rust from sitting a bit in the garage, but no matter what I did to use the brakes the scraping noise wouldn’t go away, which is why I wound up at the shop. I drive exclusively in one-pedal driving mode. I was sold on the idea that I would never have to even think about brakes for years and years and years… Shop reported I need new pads and rotors on both sides, the right sid

I live in a gated community and it turns out they are not ‘contractually obligated’ to pick up clippings that they don’t cut themselves… does anyone know a place in the area where I can drop them off at? It’s a pile approx 4 ft by 2ft by maybe 2ft high….

To clarify, each story would represent one level of open light to a bank of solar panels that wouldn’t get shaded by those above. It would be magnificent!

Hello, does anyone know of any public running tracks in/around/near Fort Myers? Ideally outdoors but indoors for a small fee would work too.

Any idea if a torn floor mat would be covered under factory warranty? Vehicle is a 2023 (37k miles) and the factory driver’s side floor mat top edge has a solid 4-5 inch unraveling of the border on the floor mat carpet. Car is blue if that makes a difference. Not a shitpost, genuinely curious if this would get me laughed out of the service department if i brought it in.

I’m trying to figure out how a football or basketball team’s players would fit in standard economy, comfort plus, or even in first. Or are there far fewer really large outliers in height or weight than I imagine?

2025 Ford Escape with the 13” screen. Trying to have CarPlay active and see if the widget on the far right showing the current radio station playing can be modified to show a list of radio presets instead? It just seems like such a waste of space and seeing presets would be so much more useful than having seek arrows….

Need to buy a car. I’d like it to be electric. There’s an EV6 I found on Carmax but it has an open recall for the ICCU with reduced power. Has anyone done this? (Bought a car where it was known that the ICCU needs replacement?) Any idea how long it’s taking to replace these days and how easy is the process if you are hauling a car in from CarMax? Specifically buying in the Fort Myers area.
