I posted about clarification on when nudity is allowed in posters. There's a guy Nikkatsufan, who literally edits every Nikkatsu Porno poster, adding red dots over the nipples, and then has the mods take down the other poster. I just asked if this was correct behavior and why considering the bible doesn't state what is appropriate or not concerning nudity. I think editing original posters is bad taste and think if TMDB thinks so too they should say so. Instead I check back later and my post is just gone.
I'm lucky enough to live in Vegas so I have Tal Ronnen's Crossroads Kitchen in my backyard, which is excellent btw. I also still use Chloe Coscarelli (who use to have more but now just has a restaurant in Greenwich) recipe for Mac and Cheese. I know they are few and far between, but anyone else have any chef recommendations? I want to plan my next vacation for some high end vegan food. I feel like Barcelona had a famous vegan chef at one point...
So I was thinking of land mass on earth and how new land, from the time of the last super-continents, has come into being via volcanic island arcs (so we now have more land than Pangea from what I gather). However, am I right to think that the continental plates themselves are constantly being eroded? I know sea level rise and fall can obvious change the coast line, but do the continental plates themselves ever expand or is each continental plate very slowly being diminished in size?
I’m out of ideas. Trying to build a new server to replace an old one. Here’s what I’m using initially:
Motherboard: Supermicro uATX X9SCM-F CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1270V2 Quad Core 3.5GHz 8MB Memory: Hynix 4x 8GB 32GB DDR3 ECC UDIMM RAM PC3-12800E 1600 MHz PSU- 750 n1 EVGA
This setup didn’t work at all. Board power light came on but fans simple click on then click off, then click on and click off. No boot.
Breadboarded and reduced the whole setup to 1 ram and no change. Reset CMOS no change.
Replaced the Motherboard with a supermicro: MBD-X9SCI-LN4F-B (used from a different vendor) Replaced the CPU with another Intel Xeon E3 (different vendor)
Here’s where things get interesting. This setup
How does data correction work on the new Plex Agent with regards to Metadata? As someone who spends a silly amount of time fixing stuff on TMDB, how do those fixes get to Plex now? I noticed in many cases, especially when the IMDB and TMDB contradict each other, Plex seems to pick IMDB over TMDB. Is that assessment correct? If so is there anyway to fix this? When using TMDB agent I can easily correct any mistakes I find in the metadata. Here's a use case I had recently. The summary was wrong on a film (this is an obscure movie). I went in and fixed it in TMDB. The plex agent is still pulling the incorrect IMDB summary. So now Letterboxd and TMDB is correct, but Plex/IMDB is wrong. I frequent
My wife and I have never handled a gun (or even seen a gun) in our lives and we're both interested in taking a firearm safety class. I've been googling all morning but I'm honestly lost. Some classes require ammunition (again neither of us have any clue on any of this stuff), none seem to say if they provide the weapons (do we have to buy a weapon first?). Often times these classes seem to be during the week. I'm just looking for a baby's first firearm class preferably one that's on the weekend. I know you can go to a range and rent a gun, but I'd rather take a class before even touching a firearm. Anyone have any suggestions for a class or point me in the right direction?
I'm really into finding/watching/collecting films based on production companies, so I was hoping folks here might have some fun suggestions.
What I'm talking about: So for example, New World Pictures/Concorde (Roger Corman companies) and AIP have a very similar style and feel to many of their productions. Same goes for Hammer Productions from the UK or Nikkatsu/Toei from Japan. Modern studios such as A24 and Asylum fit this bill as well despite being on opposite ends of the quality spectrum. Heck if I even appreciate companies like Seduction Cinema (softcore movie parodies/genre films) since they have a large output with many of the same cast/crew working on each film.
Does anyone have a
