A life not lived

My dad is in the hospital with an super high blood sugar. He is eating to much without any sportive activity his entire life. I am honestly not mad or judging, it's just what it is. He is 70 and his body is giving up.

I am not sure how i feel about it; maybe he gets out of the hospital, can walk his dog again for another year or so. That's what he has done for the last 30 years, walk his dog and nothing else. you might think the dog walks are long extended walks in nature, well that's not even the case. It's around the block for the dog to do his bussines and get back inside.

The thing is he never cared for his children. Imagine getting married, have 4 kids and then just casually lea
