I live in a city and there are a lot of pigeons around. Like a lot. I've started giving them names based on their personalities or distinguishing features. There's Gerald the Grumpy, Henrietta who always struts, and a really fluffy one I call Nimbus. Sometimes I even talk to them a little bit when no one is looking. It feels completely insane but it makes my walks much more interesting.

We all start somewhere right? For me it was realizing that time in the market beats timing the market. That simple idea totally changed how I thought about long-term investing. Before that I was always trying to predict dips or jumps. Now I just focus on consistent contributions.
Was there a specific concept or piece of advice that just totally reframed how you approached investing? Something that suddenly made it all make sense or less intimidating? I'd love to hear what helped others on their journey.
I keep seeing posts on TikTok and Instagram about people visiting some kind of immersive experience that looks like it's from a 1950s sci-fi movie. It has robots and chrome and weird bubble cars. Is this a new thing that just opened or has it been around for a while and just blowing up now?

I was doing some fall cleaning you know getting ready for the colder weather. Pulled out this old winter coat I haven't worn since last winter. Sticking my hand in the pocket just to check it for anything important and boom a crisp twenty dollar bill. It totally made my day. Little wins like this are amazing.
He said he was free. I wonder if he'll actually go.
My husband and I recently bought a new house. It was a big step for us. We've been saving for years. Our old place was getting too small. We have two kids now. We needed more space. We worked really hard for this. We're very proud of our new home.
His parents came to visit last month. They saw the new place. They were polite about it at first. They said it was lovely. Then things got weird. My mother in law started making comments. She said we were doing so well. She said it must be nice to have so much extra money. We tried to explain we saved and budgeted. It didn't seem to get through to them.
Now they've started talking about a family vacation. They want to go to Hawaii. They sai
It feels like everything is a subscription now. Streaming services music fitness apps software for work even car features are becoming subscription based. It just adds up so fast. I try to cancel what I can but then I miss out on things I actually want or need. Are we just going to be paying monthly for absolutely everything soon? It feels like death by a thousand papercuts to my bank account.
They were pushing some new development pretty hard. Said it was immune to market fluctuations. Sounded like a load of crap to me.
I know everyone loves dogs but seriously they are so dumb. Like I get it they are loyal but that's a trained behavior. Cats figure things out on their own. They use tools. They have complex social structures. Dogs just kinda follow orders and eat whatever you put in front of them. It's not even close.
