First time home, everything I'd want for the price is in this house, I'm not in a rush, but the price, area, proximity to town is amazing. When I talked to the neighbor during the tour, he mentioned how close an oil refinery is, and how many people he know have gotten some form of cancer. The property is .3 miles away, to the northeast. Ive been trying to see what prevailing /common wind direction has been in the area, but have had no luck. Is this a red flag? It's a small refinery.

Im 27, get up at 6:00 a.m. for work, and get home around 3:30 pm-4:00. I've been trying to take a 1.5 hour nap when I get home, until 5:30, because my friends like to stay up late. As a result, I would stay up until around 12:00, then go to bed for work. I've been trying this for a week, and still feel kinda rough. Is this a feasible enough structure? Im considering sleeping from 4:00pm to 7pm, then keep the 12-6 sleep as well. Has anyone tried this, any thoughts?

I have a daily 4runner thats I'd like to keep low, in both mileage, gas, and insurance. Recently my long time friend is selling his running/driving 2011 Toyota avalon he's had since new for $1700, 257k miles. 80% percent of that was highway miles, as he drove interstate for school/work. It doesn't have A/C, and we live in the south, so it would require 1k to remove the dash and do all that.

My conundrum is that although they had a family friend work the oil changes, brakes, basics etc. consistently, Im worried about the cost of the non basic maintenance, like trans fluid, coolant, timing belt, etc. I like working on my cars in rotation, so if I do the Trans fluid of one I would do the rest
