Hey, I got two tickets to see Polyphia at the House of Blues in Houston tonight but can't make it to see them. I'm selling them SUPER CHEAP. Likw a quarter of the original price ($20 a piece). Let me know if you're interested.

If it pleases the congregation I'd like to share a passage from Enthusiastes chapter Jump verse SendIt:

"Our lord hast heard thy lamentations and will save us with his glorious extreme nature. For when you tire, he shall give you Dew from the Mountain. And when you railed against oppressors, he ripped the sweetest grind. There is no racetrack he cannot swerve through and no speed he cannot obtain. For his is the acceleration and the glory both now in his freefall even until the X-games and, yea, without even his sponsors who doubted and abandoned him. For our lord is likened unto the sweetest half-pipe air and his speed records are like grains of sand on the beach. He shall not let you wipe

Yes,yes,yes,yes,yes!

For the intrepid tourist, New York's hottest club is...

(disturbing gargling sound)!!!

Formed in the cursed ruins of a Circuit City located in the shadows of LaGuardia Airport by former Indian pornstar turned mystical guru Deep Himpact, this place has got it all!

Despondent NYC sanitation workers!

Burned out ravers!

Retired Jazzercise instructors!

Toaster strudels!

"I'm sorry, Stefon. And I don't even know if I really wanna know the answer, but.... What's a toaster strudel???"

It's that thing where you take a midget and put him between two twin mattresses tied together and then squeeze like 6 quarts of dish soap on it and launch him across the floor like y

Okay, so, I'm just learning how to Chroma Key for a new project I'm doing. All the work is being done in Premiere Pro. I'm using two cameras, one being a Canon SX60HS and the other is a Nikon D3100. My footage is comprised of two camera angles on a solo subject, both showing the subject in a shoulders and up framing. I have nothing in the background behind him but the green screen itself. I've got my green screen lit separately and appropriately, so that I don't have to deal with shadows on the green screen. Also, my subject is seated more than 3 or 4 feet in front of the green screen. My issue is the workflow that i need to be using with the multicam sequence regarding the use of green scre

I know this sub is mainly for professionals and I'm not at that level yet. But I posted here because I think it's possible that the fine folks at r/videoediting might not have enough experience with Avid Media Composer to help me out. I can delete it if it's violating sub rules, but damn do i need help.

Ok, so let me explain how I got to where I'm currently at.

I recently got Media Composer in the last few weeks as it's required for my editing class to use MC and only MC. So, I bought the student version and loaded it on my brand new PC. Started up a project at school (on a Mac) and everything seemed to be working fine. While at school that first time, I literally only dropped one clip on

Started up a project at school (on a Mac) and everything seemed to be working fine. While at school that first time, I literally only dropped one clip on the sequence and then had to leave cause class was over. Got home and started actually working on the project. No problems. Then I took it to school and loaded up the project on the Mac computer in the editing bay there. Project loaded up fine. All raw footage for my project is on my external hard drive

Okay, so I'm in my first semester of a radio, tv and film program and am required to use Avid by my professor to edit all projects with. I'm familiar with basics such as JKL, extract, overwrite, fill and the like. I know it's important to memorize my keyboard shortcuts.

My main questions are about workflow, the best way to do things on a typical project and importing media as well as Consolidate/Transcode/AMA Link (I REALLY get confused with those). What's the best way to organize files for projects and how should I bring new footage into MC? I have a PC that I use for editing at home, but also want to be able to use the editing bays at school. The school uses Macs. So, I need to know if i
