It's such a small little thing, but it is the first thing I've ever printed off that I designed myself. It's also only the third thing thing I've printed on my printer, the first two was a Benchy and a couple of articulated sharks for the kids.

For such a small piece, I felt it had a lot of different things going on, and gave me a ton of practice in FreeCAD. The original stand broke at least a year ago, and had been thrown out long ago, so I had to reverse engineer how it was supposed to work based on the body of the monitor.

And it definitely won't be the last print either :)

L'Etoile d'Enfer is in orbit of Scorpii Sector JM-M a7-0 5 to load CMM Composites from Ware Works. Currently room for 15,000 units, for a total of 600,000,000 credits (minus cost).

Will be returning to Col 285 Sector IX-I c10-5 once full, to unload to La Pommerie, a Tier 3 port under construction on Col 285 Sector IX-I c10-5 A 2.

Carrier in orbit of HIP 61785 A 1 F near Conti Vista Station. Also loading 5000 tons of CMM Composites at 45k/u.

So after several years of playing Elite, I've finally completed the pilgrimage out to Colonia. I already gave Etienne my soul 25 occupied escape pods for unconscionable experimentation humanitarian reasons, and unlocked the other ship engineers. I also picked up some 1D Shield Generators for my Sidewinder as Colonia is the only place to get them.

Before I pack it up and head back to the bubble, is there anything else unique to Colonia that I should get or do? I'm not planning to be back the way again anytime soon.

So close. Even with this tiny guy I couldn't fine a landing spot. If only we could tape a bio-scanner to the front of our ships.

At my local non-landed club, the amount of families is pitifully low. So much so that being a father of two, means my kids represent two thirds if the kids under 12 that come out to the swims (for context, I think there's usually about 50 or people that come out regularly). From what I understand, even just 10 years ago it was hardly this bad, with people saying there were at last a dozen kids that regularly came out.

Going out to my the nearest club to me this week, it was much the same there, with 10 years ago, there being dozens of kids coming with their families, and now there's literally only a single kid they see their on a regular basis.

Now I know this topic has been brought up b

Any suggestions for activities to do with that a family with young kids can do at a campground that may be more fun to do in the nude?

Ok, on the surface, this probably sounds like a dumb question with an obvious answer. Everything is better to do in the nude. But let me give an example that might better illustrate what idea I'm getting at:

A few years ago, I made water bottle rockets with my niece and nephew (take an empty pop bottle, add cardboard fins and nose, half fill it with water, cork it, push a ball pump needle through the cork, and use a bicycle pump to pump air inside till the cork pops off and the air pressure forces the water out launching the bottle into the air). It wa

Do I've begun to colonize a nice little system near Guardian space that has a ringed gas giant in it with Painite, Void Opal, and Low Temperature Diamond hot-spots.

Now obviously, with colonization still in beta, there might not be a good answer to this question, but what type of economy is best for selling low temp diamonds and void opals, if I wanted to set up a system where you could mine and sell in the same system?

I like listening to podcasts and audiobooks while at work, and have been listening to several Naturist and Nudist podcasts, but was wondering if there's any actual audiobooks on Naturism available out there. I already tried searching Audible, found some podcasts, but didn't have any luck on any actual books.

Obviously it's a pretty niche topic (which I think is unfortunate), but does anyone know of any audiobooks out there I may have missed?
