I know it’s last minute, but that’s how life with my kids seems to go. Is there anywhere in MoCo that’s doing a midnight fireworks celebration tonight?
Happy early Thanksgiving! I’m in town visiting friends and family and looking for karaoke tonight, Wednesday the 25th, in the Schererville, Merrillville, Crown Point vicinity. Anyone know where I can pick up a mic tonight? Thanks a bunch!
Is there ever a special 10x for a particular hero in the Legendary Time Portal or just special events for the other portals? I’ve been saving up my antimatter just in case.
I'm really wanting a 5-star healer, but it looks like the only way I can do that is if I wait for the right Arcane Time Portal or Portal for an allied culture. If I don't use up my Maya Antimatter, does it transfer over for the next allied culture? Or do I lose it? Can I save up all the antimatters for when the right hero is at 10x chance?
I spend most my time in the areas around Wheaton, Kensington, Rockville, Aspen Hill, and North Bethesda. This summer a frustrating number of No Right Turn on Red signs have been affixed to the traffic lights. Is this a county-wide initiative other people are seeing? Did I miss an announcement?
D.C. will allow federal law enforcement indefinitely, Mayor Muriel Bowser says
washingtonpost.com/politics/2025/09/02/bowser...After multiple times going through the Allied Cultures events on my own, I’m trying out the wiki strategy guide for the current Festival of Warriors. The final thing to research in the tree is one that allows me to upgrade my small houses to Level 6, but the guide only has the small houses leveled to 5. Is there a benefit to spending the 1.8M Wu Zhu on completing the entire tree? Or should I leave it alone and spend that all on leveling up workshops?
My wife and I are going to have the conversation with the kids soon. We aren’t meeting with the divorce mediator until September, and while waiting until after then is my preference so we have more concrete answers to questions about how the divorce will affect them, my wife is not willing to wait until then to talk to the kids about the divorce (we’ve already waited 15 months).
I’m taking the kids on a trip to see my parents in a few days and then my oldest has a week long summer camp she absolutely loves.
Do we tell the kids before these trips so if they want some extra support and be surrounded by people they love they can be? Or do we wait until after so the trips aren’t marred by
My wife and I will be getting divorced later this year. Obviously we’re concerned about how our kid’s going to handle the transition. Would it be reasonable to let his teacher know that we’re getting divorced? He’s well-behaved and excels academically, and we certainly would want to know if there’s any change. Is it reasonable to ask his teacher to pay some attention to how he’s doing given the circumstances? We’ll be talking to him about the divorce shortly after the start of the new school year so it’s not like the teacher will have been with him for very long, idk if that complicates matters. My wife and I are pretty well aligned on how we parent.
Happy for any overall advice fro
