I just picked Valheim back up after the 1.0 launch. Loving it so far.

However, something strange keeps happening to me. Often times when I kill an enemy and pick up the items it drops, I get a big warning message saying that Achievements have been disabled due to using dev commands. Looking at the items, lo and behold, there is gray text stating that the item was summoned by dev commands. I have never used dev commands and those items are dropping from normal enemies.

It appears I can re-enable achievements by tossing the item away, but I just spent 10 minutes dodge rolling and defeating this bear with my flint axe and got it's head (marked as summoned by dev commands for some reason). I r

When playing as Vasari against an Eidolon opponent, is there any way to un-Shroud a planet or combat the spread of corruption from neighboring planets?

Testing out anti-Eidolon strategies with a friend. It seems like there's no way to undo the planet shroud after taking a planet previously owned by the Eidolon when they have another planet spreading corruption to it. This makes it extremely hard to push into Eidolon territory at any speed, as your planetary development levels will all be capped at 1.

It doesn't really matter as Exodus, as you can still just crack the planet and move on, but with Alliance, it feels nearly impossible to fight against a well defended Eidolon opponent.

I'm sorry to all of the opponent's I've faced with this deck.

No, seriously. For a single W mana per turn, you can prevent your opponent from playing the game. It's unfun for the opponent AND unfun for the the player. You delay and counter for the first few turns until you can get the [[Chakra Meditation]] + [[Estrid's Invocation]] combo down. And what do you do with that combo? Cast [[Orim's Chant]] on every single of your opponent's upkeeps. Do that for as many turns as it takes for you to get Emrakul (or your preferred wincon) down. And it nearly never matte

Obviously massive massive spoilers.

I feel like I was just denied justice. Oyuki was the Kitsune. She helped Saito murder our family. She doesnt just get to say "haha oops I feel bad now. Sorry for murdering your family." She may have gotten branded and kicked out of the Yotei Six, but thats what she wanted anyway. She doesnt just get to walk away free of any punishment.

If I'm being honest, this kind of killed the game for me. Like, I dont even want to finish it anymore if they're going to do rug pulls like this. Atsu was driven by revenge for 16 years. She killed the Snake. She killed the Oni. And now that Atsu is face to face with the woman who helped murder her family, she just forgive

Now that planetary shields have HP, spamming Novalith canons in every one of your systems is a surefire way to make sure your opponent never ever gets to colonize any planets. Works wonders against Nightmare AI (if you can tech up fast enough)

And forget fighting against a TEC Primacy AI. They put Novalith cannons in every one of their systems so you can never, ever get a foothold anywhere in the same star system as them. Even if you go behind their lines and start capturing their planets there, the range on the cannons is SO long, that you can immediately destroy the planets you captured.

Looking at all of the wings for both the scout and the assault, it looks like even the Mk5 assault will be able to barely outrun a Mk6 Scout with rockets.

Mk6 Scout wings have a glide speed of 180. When equipped rockets, that gets brought down -20% to 144. That's slower than the mk5 assault's 150 glide speed. So now a Mk5 assault equipped with cargo and thrusters (to gain altitude quickly) can outrun a Mk6 scout that has rockets.

After looking at that comparison, I now also understand the speed nerf for assaults. Now, a mk6 assault with rockets is very nearly the same speed as the same tier scout. So now the scout is just an overall worse version of the assault when it comes to combat. As

Especially the change to getting flattened by thopters.

I was just getting chased in the DD by two scouts with rockets. I quickly dove to the ground and stored by thopter, then took out my lasgun and shredded their wings, forcing them to land. When faced with honorable ground combat, they immediately panicked and I was easily able to 2v1 them with a combo of knee strikes, pradu bindu strikes, and "nothing personal" teleports (BG is seriously OP).

Keep it up with the amazing balance changes and bug fixes, Funcom.

Basically the title. I know you can use the sandcrawler to go out into the DD and harvest spice sand, but I'm wondering if it can also be used in Hagga Basin to harvest flour sand. I haven't quite gotten to that tier yet, but using these compactors is just too slow. I need so much flour sand (silicone blocks) for all of the fuel and crafting recipes.

I'm loving the new balance changes with 1.4 and the new ship types are are being put to great use to fill in gaps in my fleets. However, playing as Vasari Exodus to test out the new balance changes and pop tech, I have noticed that I was unable to build a Core Stripper on the three new planet types (Barren, Ice Moon, and Volcanic Moon). Do we know if this is intended?

I think I stopped playing around the time Drifters were invading k-space, around the middle of 2018 (ish). Looking at the Sov map, really nothing has changed. Maybe some musical chairs with the regions, but all the names are still exactly the same. All that stagnancy and realpolitik seems maybe a bit boring, so skip that.

So what's up with Low-sec and w-space? Any happenings going on that may have drastically changed the game? Any new up and comers?
