Shortly before the scheme launched I took out a green loan with AIB for a one-stop-shop home energy upgrade. I’m wondering, now that such loans are on the market, can I refinance onto one of these loans for the lower interest rate?
I am asking this as an almost complete outsider so please bare with me. I appreciate this is probably a slightly sensitive topic so if the answers could be given with respect for everyone involved that would be much appreciated. I’m just wondering, given the circumstances of Singapore’s independence and the racial dimensions to that event, how do Malaysian Chinese today feel about that moment in history? I would assume that there is some tension in peoples’ feelings in that it would stir some conflict in how someone might regard their commitment to the state versus their commitment to people of the same ethnicity. Or am I wrong here? What do Malaysian Chinese feel about this today? How is th
Does anyone have any advice on how to handle this situation? Set up a new Monzo account, want to move a few direct debits for it, but my mobile provider says they can’t set up payment from this bank
- Humans give Martians a weapon and do not intervene when they use it to commit genocide (and the episode portrays that as a good thing). It sounds like a metaphor for the situation between the US and Israel.

I feel like it’s either Penang or JB. In my opinion it is Penang. But I think JB have bigger population. But to me JB is just a Singapore suburb. We should really just hand it over to SG (like new territories) in exchange for freedom of movement. Also, at what size does a place stop being a city and is viewed as just a town? I saw on Twitter someone arguing that Kangsar is a great city …but to me it is just a town.
