Some time back, I discovered that there was a way to make Ublock Origin not block user ads, so I implemented that.

I do like the new RR redesign, but something about it causes Ublock to block everything, and those setting changes don't work.

For the meantime, I've reverted back to the old style, but I'd like to use the new design and still get user ads while using Ublock.

Does anyone know a fix?

And yes, I know why they have ads in general. I guess I'm just a dick. (Actually, I mostly just enjoy User ads, and non-user ads lower the amount that show up.)

I was just refreshing a nostalgic memory of a New Universe character (Justice, because it was tangential to the topic of mullets), and when I came across the Wikipedia page for the NU and its list of comics, someone I had thought was NU was missing.

That month in 1986, I remember buying Justice, Nightmask, Star Brand, DP7, Merc, and another comic which featured a bodybuilder athlete character.

As I recall, in that first issue, through a mind-body connection, he'd gained some sort of mastery over his body. IIRC, he'd gotten himself shot in that first issue and through concentration or meditation had his body push out the bullets.

Because of the timing, my memories assumed he was a

I replaced my trigger throttle after it was damaged by an endo. It was a quick easy swap out.

After the swap out, I couldn't get the scooter to power up. So I went to charge it.

Now, when I plug the charger in, intead of turning solid red to signify it's charging, the charger's LED flashes red and green at a rapid rate.

I'm guessing that it's either because there's some problem with the new parts (not sure how that should affect the charger though) or it's because I haven't charged it since New Years. As it was at about 75-80% charge, I didn't think it would be a problem, and I kind of forgot about it until I got the new part.

I'm looking on trouble shooting advice, to determine i

There are many people who claim they will stop using Reddit if their 3rd Party app of choice stops working.

And others who have said that they'll only stop using Reddit on mobile, but continue to use it on desktop.

Will HiddenGnome branch out beyond Reddit after the change?

Myself, not that anyone should care, I expect to stop using Reddit on mobile and very rarely use it via desktop if I feel a need. I might look for the next big thing, but I'm kind of hoping that this change will lead to healthier choices when it comes to internet content consumption and curation.

I recently had to use a foam gun that was gunked up to the point that the trigger had only one setting. Full on.

Anyway, a day later and I'm still shaving hardened crap off my fingernails.

This foam was a Hilti product, and the gun cleaner spray was useless for getting the crap off my hands or out of the trigger. Although, it did increase my flow from slow to too fast.

Anyone had any luck cleaning this stuff off skin, surfaces, or clothing?

There must be a solvent that you can soak a gun in to clean one out (like a varsol bath for an LMG).

I'm looking for information to advise my slightly paranoid techno-illiterate upstairs neighbour/landlord when he returns from his trip in a week or two, and since I don't have full account access asking Shaw directly will probably being extra annoying.
Also, their website seems designed to spoonfeed minimal useful information.

We have what I understand to be the Bluecurve XB7 gateway (label on the back says model TG4482).

I'd like to know what are the various wifi extender "pods" available to best function with this?
(i.e. are there model options to be aware of, and which is the least terrible?)

The website implies in one place, that pods come in packs of three, but the

I don't recall doing it, but today's notification suggests that I apparently pre-registered for Undecember.

When I opened the Play store to check it out, it seems that my LG V30 isn't compatible.

Nowhere on its Play store page, or the Dev's site can I find anything about system requirements, and I seem to recall having this problem in the past, too. With this device and others.

So how do we find this information out?

Just like the title asks.
If I doubt the accuracy of a piece of equipment want to check out non-name brand tools, it seems a good idea to have a accurate tool to measure such things, and worth paying a proper price.

That said, I'm frugal enough to want it to be useful for measuring more than one type of hardware.

Anyone have any suggestions for products, or even projects, for such a tool?

Thanks in advance for any advice or sharing of your experiences.

I haven't seen anyone mention it, and I've been trying to keep an eye out, but I think it's one of the coolest shots I've seen in a while.

The way the students move around the hallway reminds me of Brownian motion. There's no real pattern to be seen until Wednesday passes through creating an area of influence that no one seems willing to enter.

Sure, it says a lot about the character, but it just looked really cool.

To add more context:
This doesn't seem to happen after a very short pause, but pauses of at least a few minutes.

It's impossible to replicate on demand.

I can't recall it ever happening with wired miked headphones, only with BT.

It's always a recently used audio app that starts. It's been Audible and Gone Mad, but never youtube, vanced, or VLC.

Force stopping and clearing the cache of the not wanted app does not (reliably, if at all) prevent that app from opening again after a pause in my Smart listening.

This behaviour is sporadic and occured on my LG G5, and now occurs on my LG V30.

What's the culprit behind this behaviour, and is there a way for me to stop this f

My plastic string line roller/handle thingy broke making it a pain to use.
First, the top end broke so the string was wanting to unravel around the end.
Then the handle broke, so no roller.

Lots of replacements in the tool crib, but they're just spools. But no roller handles, so they'll probably be just as inconvenient.

I was considering making a kite string holder type thing and transferring my string to that. It set me to thinking that, with a world full of carpenters, there have to be better solutions out there. Don't there? People have been using string lines since before the damned pyramids. I can't believe this crap is the best we've come up with in thousands of years.

What is the name of the little tongue with the pinouts called?

That's directly related to the follow-up: can USB ports be repaired at all?

I got one that's got a slightly wiggly tongue, and the device won't charge unless there's a little pressure on the plug.
While I'm waiting on the replacement part, I'm just wondering if there's anything that can be done without/until the full removal replacement.

I really hate this kind of soldering, which means that there's probably no other fix, but I thought I'd ask anyway.

Thanks in advance for suggestions, bad news, and maybe sympathy from anyone else who hates this kind of soldering.
