I’m a college student and recently applied for an internship at a company. I have an offer and they’re looking to do a background check before everything is finalised.

However, as I don’t have much experience working I put in my resume an informal ‘job’ I took right after high school graduation to help out a family member as a part time salesperson at their market, which since then they have stopped operating. The experience is pretty unrelated to the job I’m applying for now (they didn’t even mention about it in the interview, only asked about my other 2 later jobs), but my dumbass decided to include it in my resume.

There weren’t any contracts involved and I was paid cash according to a

*Haiiro to Ato

A quick preface: I produce music as a hobby and I'm sure someone, somewhere can point out areas I can further improve - please do!

So I was listening to Towa & Suisei's cover of Haiiro to Ao. Great singing as always from them, but I felt something was amiss. In my opinion, the mixing on this track was off - guitar and vocals mushed together, harsh to the ears at even normal volume levels. I felt like the mixing didn't do their singing & the composition any justice, so I tried to remaster the track with the knowledge I have about music production. Some mid-side EQing, imaging, compression, while adding some additional drums and bass guitars to beef up the track.

...and they’re all so fucking amazing. And I mean they sound like it was done with creative professionals, in a studio, with proper mixing gears and all that shit. In other words, I just realised that I have absolutely no chance of ever getting into top 10, let alone winning it. All those hours of sitting in front of a computer, trying to put my best effort together has almost certainly gone down the drain. I’ve been doing this stuff for years, yet I can’t get anywhere close to them.

I feel defeated already

I'm encountering a really interesting issue. The bass on my pair of AirPods Pro has gone from mono to stereo and it's really bugging me, especially when I'm listening to electronic music. The kick drum and the sub is really thumping and literally covering everything else up. I've checked, I'm not using any equaliser on both Spotify and iPhone's end.

Here's an example of what it should be and how it sounds on my AirPods (Normal comes first, simulation comes second): https://clyp.it/ssoanske

(I edited the audio in a DAW to simulate what I hear)

Anyone had the same problem? What can I do except sending it back?
