Saving up for a house upgrade in the next year or few. Have a few hundred thousand in HYSA because of it. Wishing I would've been less conservative. Age: Just under 50. Will probably retire in 15 years or so. Leave in HYSA or invest in VT (or something else)? Note: 401k is doing well (typical funds for my age range).

Does anyone know if the education version requires verification of any kind or is it like buying from the education store (honor system)?

I have an old Dell XPS tower and upgraded to Windows 11 using an old Samsung SSD 2TB that I installed in the tower instead of updating to Windows 11 using the hard drive that came with the computer. Everything takes forever to load. I thought an SSD would make things faster? Is it just Windows 11 and my old Dell, the SSD, or something else? I also updated my old Surface Pro to Windows 11 and it's fast (no lag). I don't understand why the Dell is so laggy. Should I get another Dell tower or maybe buy a Surface Pro?

I bought this on Best Buy when it was $550: https://www.bestbuy.com/product/microsoft-surface-pro-copilot-pc-12-touchscreen-snapdragon-x-plus-16gb-memory-256gb-ufs-device-only-platinum/JJGXPXT353/sku/6623676

I haven't opened it yet and am wondering if I should. My 8 year old Dell tower with upgraded Win 11 takes forever to load programs and is always making a tornado sound. I was thinking of using this with my 2 4K monitors and have a bunch of USB-A plug hubs. If I wanted to use Lightroom, should I stick with a new Dell tow

The rule mandates that a pitcher must face a minimum of three batters or pitch to the end of that half-inning, unless an injury or illness occurs. I saw some comments stating that Sheehan should've stayed in for the 9th inning against at least one batter. That's no longer allowed.

I'm interested in supporting movies/shows with Asian American leads (with positive Asian male portrayals). I already purchased Crazy Rich Asians and Everything Everywhere All At Once. I'm thinking of buying Searching, Parasite, Minari, or Shang-Chi - all movies that I've already seen and have access to seeing again if I wanted to. So it would be purely for supporting / "voting with your wallet". Will a company see sales from 2023 for these older movies and do anything with that data or should I go with something else?
