Hello, I have lately been attempting to navigate a particularly odd psychological phenomena where I’ve been experiencing what, from the outside perspective, must clearly be a delusion with insight.

See, I have this idea that’s been circling in my mind, regarding a conversation that a friend and I had a around the beginning of June, when I was quite drunk, which ultimately led to the end of our friendship. *Because* I was drunk (or perhaps not only for that reason, but we’ll get to that) my memory of that conversation is fuzzy at best. When I first woke up the next morning, though, I didn’t remember much of anything at all. The one thing I specifically remembered is that everything ended o

Have any of you ever had a psychosis-type event where everything keeps feeding back to one moment? I feel like I’m convincing myself that I had one specific, dissociative episode and now everything that I experience has callbacks to the moments that i “dissociated.” Almost like i wrote or anticipated my own future. It’s weird af, especially since it keeps going back to that one event. Anyone experience anything like this?

A strong part of me feels like I had a dissociative episode about two weeks ago, and I think that I may have given my friends, who were with me at the time, instructions not to tell me about it. I feel like I’m getting flashbacks of me telling them not to tell… me what was going on, and to let me remember that I had the dissociation on my own, because I thought it would be too traumatic for me to accept? Or something?

And so i feel like something is off with them, but, that’s probably just in my head. Right?

And so I understand that that is… totally crazy. And definitely couldn’t have happened. And so now I’m thinking that I’m having a psychotic episode. Because it feels real even thou

I’ve been drinking more, working more, exercising more, trying to keep myself mentally stimulated/distracted more… and just in the last few days I really feel like the whole thing caught up to me where I finally realized I am depressed, even if I don’t feel depressed, and it’s coming as a bit of a shock. Usually depression was something I felt, not something I was able to ignore. Any thoughts or experience with this?

…of Marty once he went back to the future in his time train and realized that the accident with the Rolls Royce never happened. Sure, Doc saw Marty try to stand down against Mad Dog in the Wild West, but to go to the future again and realize that Marty really did learn something from this whole time travel endeavor? Must’ve made him feel like it all worked out just right.

Collaboration beers should up under both/all breweries, that is, if you go to producer->see all->search beer name, it should come up in search for both brewery A and brewery B.

I figure devs don’t really read these, but still. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.

Hi all, I’ve been training for the Carmel Indiana Marathon for the last 18/20 weeks using Hal Higdon’s Novice 1, and was feeling pretty confident that I could at least get to the finish line, with a backup goal of sub-5.

Of course, that marathon was pushed back 6 weeks and I was worried that I’d lose my motivation to run at all since I’m pretty much at the end of my training block. So I made the pivot to Delaware.

Unfortunately, Delaware is a lot hillier, at least for the first half, and I’m trying to be realistic about expectations. Is the best strategy to take the first half slowly, conserving as much energy as possible on the hills so that there’s gas left in the tank for the flatter s

I’m about 8 weeks out from my first marathon, and this last week I did my longest run so far of 15 miles. As of yet I haven’t been bringing any gels or electrolytes or anything for energy along the way, and was basically just powering through. With the longer distances coming up, and the marathon in a couple months, I was wondering what you have found helpful in terms of restoring/maintaining energy over longer distances. Any recommendations on brand, frequency of taking them, things to be aware of etc. would be very appreciated!
