The production started off great with frequent, long listen-ins—we even got back-to-back comms from opposing teams. But by the end, we got fewer and shorter clips, and zero listen-ins during the final. That is honestly a disgrace.

I enjoy the casting (shoutout to Jake), but listen-ins are what create the real hype and give the teams personality. Production is being way too conservative. I would literally pay for a dedicated stream just to hear team comms. Please stop being so careful and give us more and longer listen-ins!

Seriously, hearing the players communicate — the calls, the stress, the clutch plays, the panic, the hype — that’s some of the most engaging content in the broadcast. It makes me feel way more connected to the teams. I’d honestly rather listen more often to teams planning out fights and making calls than hear another generic play-by-play. (No offense to the casters, they’re great, but this hits different.)

I really think listen-ins could be a unique selling point for Overwatch as an esport. No other game really leans into this. It adds personality, it builds storylines, and it helps viewers become actual fans of specific teams.

A common counterargument is that it could be too taxing or inv

Basically the title. Is there some quarantine period before departure to make sure no one is infected? Are crewmembers tested? I imagine it would be really bad if some infectious desease would break out in such a small space with so many ppl.

I will keep it simple:

0 Overwatch is a different game when you 5 stack

1 Some people like to 5 stack

2 If your 5 stack is succesful, and you have fun and climb, it becomes unavailable

3 5 stacks ruin the soloque experience

4 Two different ques split the playerbase too much

5 I think it would be fun, also for non-GM players, to make weekly little 5stack-tournaments in the OW client available

6 You sign up, get a lil' bracket of 8 teams and play a maximum of 3 bo3 games with a little 10 minute break in between matches

7 If you win, you climb a division. Next time/week when you sign up, you start in that higher division. It's a team ladder

What do you guys think?

Hi folks,

Simple question: how does hack/EMP interact with enemy ults?

I made a list of what I found so far but there are some blank spaces as you will see in the end. I'm sure you guys can help me out.

Sombra can cancel the ult of. . . Moira, Reaper, Pharah, Cassidy, Ashe, Sigma, & Dva (partly since you can prevent her from going back into mech)

Sombra can't cancel the ult of. . . Ana, Brigitte, Kiriko, Zenyatta, Tracer, Genji, Mei, Echo, Zarya, Doomfist, Junkerqueen & Winston

Sombra can interrupt the ultcasting of. . . Lucio, Sombra, Hanzo, Junkrat & Reinhardt

Sombra can only use EMP to cancel the ult of. . . Baptiste, Symmetra & Hammond (He has a name

*edit* ofc a 5stack ladder would work as well.

TL;DR

After playing self organised scrims in Overwatch I feel like the game was never played to it's full potential by 95% of the playerbase. Playing in a 6stack fixes a lot of other problems of Overwatch. A team based ladder should have been added to the official game ages ago. The Devs should add a ladder to OW2.

Not a native English speaker btw so sorry for strange sentences etc. in advance

A difficult game

Overwatch is a strange combination of a FPS and a MOBA. It is actually a really difficult game to master. All the different characters and comps they can form, maps, roles, gamemodes etc.

Blizzard doesn't want the que to take too long. The que takes long because no one wants to play tank. There are A LOT of noob-dps that want to play the game. The most annoying thing as a tank is noob dps that don't understand their role in the game. A lot of times decent tanks get into games with bad dps. Or they get into shitty games with low-ranked tanks. This makes the tank-experience so bad that less and less people play tank. TBH if they placed tanks in a true skillgroup there would be que times over 1.000 hours in plat. They should actually do this. How can i be 4400 on 1 acc on tank and get the hardest games at a 3300 game? It's only because blzzrd wants ppl to be able to play the gam

Quick Q: so in my writing I often put in a line 'They laughed.' or 'She laughed.'.

It feels kinda lame but the reader needs to understand that a person finds a line amuzing. Sometimes I write an action. For example: 'She slapped him on his chest.' What are creative ways to say a person laughs?

Instead of balance changes or system changes here are a few minor changes that in my opinion should be made in the game:

  1. Widowmaker isn't called 'Snipergirl'. Rename Wrecking Ball to Hammond, rename him NOW! The hamster is the character not his device. Wtf.
  2. Change the voting cards segment in the end of each game so that it is impossible to vote on yourself. This could bring back the fun of voting for a MVP.
  3. Change profile visibility to always open or make an option to hide all seasons except the current one or at the very least make open the default option. This is a competitive game, not some kind of rubber tile playing ground for weaklings.
  4. Make a 6v6 ladder (okay this is not

Do you guys think it would be fun if there was a temporary competitive mode with as only restriction that ultimates would be disabled? Would you guys play that mode?

So I was hardstuck at 4100 SR for a few hours and I found out something I thought I might share here. This sounds logical but for me it was somehow a mistake I just automatically made: You shouldn't use packs between fights. Before I would trow out packs like Oprah giving the audience presents but that's not the way to go I found out. Having 3 packs at the start of every fight is much more important than a few % more ultimate charge. Just wanted to trow it out to get some content on this sub :P

edit I thought about it more, all situations are different, but as a ground rule: don't heal tanks during poke phase between fights with the packs.
