Vermintide got me more interested into Warhammer Fantasy in general after years of mostly being into Warhammer40k, and now I've started taking a liking to Age of Sigmar thanks to stuff like the Stormcast Eternals and the Callis & Toll novels. So I've been thinking: with Sigmar back and better than ever, how do you think our resident Sigmar Male Warrior Priest would feel if Sigmar managed to pluck his soul from the disaster that destroyed the World-That-Was and bring him into the new franchise?

On one hand, I can imagine him being ecstatic. He was 100% right, Sigmar is real and the coolest, and if Kerillian managed to make it out of the End Times too he has all the right in the Mortal

After all this time, it feels a bit weird to finally see the end of the Dilmun Club storyline, at least for the time being.

While my original character chose the patronage of the Bishop of St. Fiacre, he couldn't complete the journey to Irem due to embarking on a one-way trip NORTH, so my second character completed her journey under the patronage of the Implacable Detective, and I only just found this final pin in the whole affair waiting for me in my Accommodations after a full week at Zee, playing around with Destiny and bringing my Zeefaring as high as I could. Can anyone else spare the final storylet for the oth

Having completed three separate Ambitions (and heavily considering the fourth), two goes at Seeking Mr Eaten's Name, and explored all of Sunless Seas (still need to get to Skies), I think I can say that I've fallen in love with the worldbuilding and writing of Fallen London. I've always wondered where all the inspiration for the setting came from, stuff like the >!Great Chain of Being, the Judgements, the Thief-of-Faces, Polythreme!<, etc.

Has Failbetter ever explained where all these ideas came from? I'd love to read through a sort of dev bible listing out all the art direction and stuff!

While I enjoy throwing myself into the fray, it looks like this option references some very obscure items/qualities. So far I've seen:

!Weeping Scar (SMEN) - They cry out in agony, remembering their origins!<

!The Robe of Mr. Cards (Heart's Desire) - You flex the stubs that will be wings!<

!Spider Infested Eyeball (Required Repairs) - You weep a baby spider from your eye!<

!Scars from Clay Surgeries (The Clay Arm; didn't keep the arm) - You show off the scars from when your flesh was replaced with Clay!<

I love anything that references optional paths and stories, so what other qualities of theirs have people seen?

Having recently and finally seen both the new Dreams storylines to the end, I am excited about what they seem to reveal about the greater world of Fallen London, and I hope others can shed more light upon them in case my perspective is lacking. I want to see if I'm picking up what is being laid before me properly.

Stairs: >!The references to the Third City, the taste of blood, and overwhelming guilt at a betrayal are dead ringers for the God-Eaters and Mr. Eaten. Just in time for my second pass through SMEN! I can imagine that this is what it's sort of like being on the receiving end of the God-Eaters' influence like the Fidgeting Writer(s) is/are: the Eaters send their dreams to you
