Just confused about the HUD, what does the gold mean, what does the tower icon with 1000 next to it mean? And does the tower in the bottom right which is always 0/1 for me mean something? Thanks

Say i'm playing Chinese and everybody is fully upgraded imperial. Is it still worth it using cavaliers when I don't have access to paladins? What about other civs?

So recently I was digging around in my basement and found an old copy of aoe2 classic (no conquerors expansion) and have really been getting back into the game, started watching streams, etc. I'm playing it on an old computer but I've been itching to play it online with a friend of mine who has it. I played this game a lot when I was younger but never got the chance to play against a human opponent. I see it's possible to play with steam on a mac, which is my up to date computer, I also realize that I missed out on the last sale, which is a bummer because I don't really have the money to spend the full $20 on it. Is there going to be another sale anytime soon?

Is one better than the other? What are your experiences?

So I was sitting in a chair behind my computer, about three hours after taking 210mg of DXM syrup for my first time and I also had just smoked a bowl of weed, watching this video. I start feeling nauseous about 2 minutes in, look away from the video at the wall and i see all the weird patterns and a color strobing effect, which intensifies and eventually everything gets brighter and brighter and I think I passed out. Next thing I remember I'm lying on the floor and the chair is knocked over. Has anything like this happened to anybody else? Could this mean I shouldn't use DXM?

Any insight you guys can give me would be great! It's very interesting.
