So me and my wife got a cat, Pyra, almost 3 yes ago. We both adore cats and love her to death, but we wanted another cat both for ourselves, and for her so she wouldn’t be alone when we go to work.
So almost 2 months ago we got another cat, Sylvie, and she just hit 1 yr old. She’s an absolute sweetheart, but has a lot of energy. We’ve keep her in our guest room mostly, trying to give Pyra time to get used to smelling her and what not. She avoided the door to the guest room for a couple of weeks, but gradually would get closer and closer to it. We eventually got to where Sylvie would stick her paw under the door and Pyra would bat at it for a short bit, no hissing. We thought that went well,
