I've seen a fair few posts recently along the lines of "help me with my army". For the most part these posts aren't getting a lot of attention. The problem is that the titles are far too vague. The vast majority of players have certain areas of expertise; for instance, as a Legion player I have a very good grasp of the faction, meanwhile my understanding of Retribution is very poor as I don't play it and it's a rarity in my local meta. Naturally, I'm going to have more to contribute to posts about Legion than Retribution.

Now, as I scan through the posts on reddit and other forums, I'm going to be looking at titles to see what catches my interest, someone asks for help on a Legion list? I'l

So the Unleashed warbeast rules do not list running or charging as things you can force a warbeast to do. Is this covered somewhere else and I'm just blind?

This is at full build, using the typical build of Warrior Tabi, Jotunn's Wrath, Transcendence, Titan's Bane, Shifter's Shield and Magi's Blessing. Replacing Transcendence with The Crusher gives you more damage on Declaw against enemies with less than 136 physical protection, more on Cat Call against 163 or less, more on Pounce against 170 or less, and more on Razor Whip against 210 or less.

As for when the build isn't complete, at 3 items Titan's Bane will give you higher damage on Razor Whip against all gods in place of a fully stacked Transcendence, and more damage against targets with higher than 72 protections on a level 4 Cat Call.

With Razor Whip, The Crusher will give you more damag

I have seen so many posts misunderstanding how percentage penetration works. Obsidian Shard and Titan's Bane give you 33% penetration. This isn't +33% of your current penetration stat, it's ignoring 33% of the target's relevant protection stat.

Additionally, percentage penetration is applied before flat penetration, but after protection reduction. This means that the passive effect of items like Spear of the Magus and The Executioner reduce the penetration of Obsidian Shard and Titan's Bane respectively.

Using the lovely graphs Krett used to explain Hunter builds in season 1, I've done the same for the current (3rd stage) PTS items to give people an idea of optimal builds. All calculations are done on Neith because she has no steroids, The Executioner and Ichaival are assumed to be at max stacks. I've used Ninja Tabi in all builds because the attack speed results in higher DPS.

I've also included a build that isn't commonly used but has extremely high DPS; Transcendence, Ninja Tabi, Asi, The Executioner, Rage, Deathbringer. I have affectionately dubbed it the Hippocampus.

Everyone's talking about how Ao Kuang needs a nerf, or how cheap Nu Wa's ultimate is, but Apollo has been able to get away with being the strongest Hunter in the game for ages.

Let's compare Apollo to one of my favourite well-balanced hunters; Neith. Nearly every single stat Neith has is lower than or tied with Apollo's apart from attack speed and physical protection, yet Apollo has an attack speed steroid in his passive and a physical protection buff + mesmerise in his 2.

Apollo has the best global presence of any Hunter, he has the best self-peel of any Hunter, he has great wave clear and only loses out on lane control to Anhur, AMC, Cupid. He has a good steroid which only loses out on b

Neith seems to be a pretty high priority pick in Latin America compared to EU and NA, I think I only saw her once or twice in the SPL. What's weird to me is they use the crit build instead of the unicorn build, despite Neith's poor scaling with the former. Anyone have any insight as to why she sees so much more play in Latin America over Rama and Anhur?
