Hello fellow truckers

Wondering what you guys use for work out equipment OTR.

Not my first rodeo, but will be back on the road after a 1.5 year hiatus due to a back injury. In this time I’ve taken working out very seriously and hope to continue my journey.

In the past I’ve brought adjustable dumbbells and resistance bands,

The question is if anyone has any suggestion for a portable work out bench, or if anyone has a pull up bar or something similar installed in their truck? Maybe post your setup or tell me what works for you?

We have two bigger-sized dogs (100lb+ Mastiffs) and they regularly roam the backyard (supervised). Coyotes will avoid us and our dogs. We still keep our pets at a distance from the tree-line and close to us for obvious reasons.

A week ago, I was in my backyard having a smoke, and noticed my dogs were suddenly alert and barking at this mid-sized deer in my backyard. It was taller than my Mastiff and upon closer inspection it was a big full-sized coyote or dog of some sort with a long snout and a long row of sharp/skinny teeth.

What caught me off guard though… it showed hardly any fear. It stared at my dog for a while, assessed the situation for a few seconds before finally lowering its hea

We have two bigger-sized dogs (100lb+ Mastiffs) and they regularly roam the backyard close to bed time (supervised) and in the mornings. Coyotes will avoid us and our dogs. They run away if I even stand up or walk towards them. One may get close but they retreat after a few warning barks from the dogs. We still keep our pets at a distance from the tree-line and close to us for obvious reasons. Without being too specific, our backyard borders a forest that is on the outskirts of Vaughan.

Left my rig unlocked last night with the battery switch left off, key in ignition so the guy could move it.

This morning dispatch is saying it is locked. My question is, will the lock/unlock button inside work when the battery is disconnected? I’m guessing he locked himself out and is trying to shift the blame to me.

I’m thinking there’s an extremely small chance I hit the button on my way out, but I know I’d remember it.

I have an H-Pipe with the active exhaust. When it was stock I’d exclusively use track mode as it just wasn’t too loud and worked great.

Now that I’ve got an H-pipe, I find myself switching between modes all the time and exclusively using quiet mode on startups. I feel like track mode is the deepest but doesn’t really have as much tone. I almost always use sport/normal now. Just wondering what others use and their inputs on it?

The girlfriend dies from injuries. The boyfriend survives and his father hunts down a white guy and black guy. One of them gifts the watch to someone and a nurse notices the watch and this leads this mob family to seek revenge on the two of them. There is a scene where one of the guys gets beat up by a guy wearing brass knuckles and is relentless.

I believe it was on Netflix for a bit. Very good movie but I cannot find it anywhere with any keywords. Thank you.

So I was backing up into a spot at 5am at the end of my shift in Gary, IN at the Pilot and a driver in a bobtail raced behind me full throttle and just took the spot. I had my flashers on and was like 5 ft away from being in the spot.

I got out to confront the driver because had I not glanced in the other mirror I would’ve squished them. Another driver stopped me as I got out and said it was a lady who was circling the whole lot and couldn’t find a spot and that she was there first like 2 minutes ago so it means she was there “first”. I didn’t even want to debate him because that was the dumbest thing I’d ever heard. According to him she was too scared to back the bobtail in. I kept my co

I just don’t see how A.I. Is going to slide your tandems, adhere to the DOT officer at the scale, do a pre trip, secure your load, etc.

Half the places I used to go required a phone call to a receiver, or use of satellite view and common sense. Even google maps and truck GPS make mistakes. How will it refuel the truck?

It just seems like a human needs to be present to monitor and do things for the computer, at which point you can just hire a driver…

Anyone have a different take on this? Share your opinions

Around town I drive around in 4th - 5th mainly, however I feel like I’m wasting extra fuel by not putting it in 6th until I hit 60mph.

Is it safe to cruise around in 6th at 50mph? I know to downshift whenever I need to add speed, but am I hurting the engine in any way doing this?

Just want my car to last as long as possible.
