I have a 2022 4Runner TRD Off-Road Premium with TRD Pro wheels. Right now I’m running 265/70R17 Falken Wildpeak AT3Ws (these have been awesome tires), and they’re pretty worn out and due for replacement.

My predicament is that I also want to do a 2 or so inch suspension lift, but that’s probably about a year away. I’d rather save up and get a good lift instead of rushing into one now. At the same time, I don’t want to buy new 265s now, lift the 4Runner in a year, and then immediately feel like I need to buy bigger tires to make it look right.

So I’m wondering if I can go up to 275/70R17 Falken Wildpeak AT4Ws at stock height in the meantime. (A little trimming or removing the mud flaps woul

I’m traveling to Edinburgh Scotland in early December for several days. I have a Sony a6700 with a Sigma 18-50 2.8 (I also have a Sony 200-600, but I will not be bringing due to the size/weight)

I’m really wanting to get good low-light photos of the city/street photography. So I’m trying to decide which prime lens to buy. Any suggestions? My budget is up to around $1000 but less is better, obviously.

Goal: sharp lens with excellent low light performance on a crop sensor (a6700), and a versatile focal length.

Current contenders: Viltrox 1.2 27mm or 56mm (possibly the g master 1.4 50mm if I can find a used one)

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Buying myself and my wife a Kawasaki Z500 from a local dealer. One is a 2024 model in New condition with a non-negotiated $1,000 discount off sticker. I asked them to send me an OTD breakdown and they sent the following (I combined it in excel). This is the first time I'm buying new so not sure where the wiggle room is for negotiating. Looking for some opinions from experienced buyers/sellers. Appreciate any input!

So I’m looking to purchase a couple of bikes soon (Himalayan 450), for myself and my wife. I’m trying to get the right protective gear, especially since my wife is a new rider (I haven’t owned a bike in a few years; we’re both doing the MSF course).

Here’s what we plan to get so far: -Arai Regent x helmets (they fit well) -good gloves with palm sliders -boots with ankle protection and good safety ratings

But I’m struggling with the jackets. I was originally looking at the Rev’it Eclipse 2 jackets, but they are only single A; C1 rated. Since we’ll be doing some highway riding I’m thinking we need at least AA C2 with back and possibly chest armor.

Living in Utah it probably wouldn’t hurt to

A little back story. I used to ride about 9 years ago during college, I had an old Rebel 450 that I would commute to work/school with. So I’m familiar with riding but it’s been a while.

Now, years later, my wife (who has never ridden before) really wants us to get bikes. She’s always wanted to ride a bike of any kind. We both have cars, so these would essentially be toys. I was looking at getting two RE Himalayan 450s (we’d use them for road trips, day riding, gravel road/forest service riding, occasional commuting, etc).

However, the more I think about it, the more nervous I get about the safety of riding (easier to ignore this feeling when it’s just you riding).

I’m starting to wonder

Can someone help me understand the “math” on this. I have an a6700 and I’m considering getting an A7RV. I have the Sony 200-600 and mainly do wildlife/nature photography.

What I’ve read online and in this subreddit, is that the a6700 is essentially the exact same image quality as the A7RV, when you factor in the crop. (e.g. I’m standing in the same spot and capture an image of an animal at the end of the 600mm focal length and then crop in the A7RV to match the frame of the a6700)

This makes sense to me when you use the A7RV in its native crop mode, when it drops the 60MP to 26MP.

But the reason I would get the A7RV would be for the extra stop of light that the FF sensor offers.

I’m looking to get a stylish, well fitting suit for an upcoming event and it seems like Suit Up in Provo might be a good option. I was also considering UWM in SLC or Indochino but UWM is pricier and Indochino has a long turnaround time (my event is in about 6 weeks)

Has anyone used or heard anything about SuitUp?

Thanks!
