This one just makes my skin crawl, it’s even worse because people think they’re giving the ultimate compliment.

The public seems to think “aging gracefully” has a few requirements; no obvious plastic surgery, looking your age, still being attractive. If the person has had no plastic surgery but the effects of age make her unattractive the phrase isn’t applied to her. June Squibb, Kathy Bates, Margo Martindale are examples that come to mind. The phrase seems to be saved for women who are still conventionally hot.

It’s the equivalent of saying you prefer women without makeup, which requires the woman to be hot enough to not need makeup in the first place.

Not changing big plot points like the ending, but minor changes.

I would change Moronth’s ending if you recruited her for your team.

If you choose to keep her over Samara it’s a pretty useless choice and doesn’t add much to the story. You find you she turned into a banshee in ME3 and you kill her.

I would have liked an ending in ME3 where, if you play your cards right and got to know her, Morinth breaks down and admits she made a mistake in killing her mother. I think in her last moment she should realize she was angry with Samara for trying to cage her, but as soon as she was dead Morinth had nothing left to fight against. If you are defined by your enemies what is Morinth without Sama

I’m in the middle of watching this episode and it’s giving me such flashbacks to my college years lol. This isn’t a critique of the show at all, it just totally reminded me of specific people I’ve known.

Anyone else have that one friend like Ross who talks mad shit during any competitive game, but when you win and try to jokingly talk trash back they spend the rest of the night trying to ruin your life?

It’s so specific I don’t know if it’s just me. I’ve known a few of those people through my 20’s who couldn’t lose and take a gentle ribbing, despite being the worst trash talkers we knew. If you try to turn it around on them when you’re winning they get noticeably angry and take the comp

I heard someone on here say that Jack dying creates an interesting change to the mission in ME3 that’s worth experiencing. Are there any other characters who I should let die in order to change my ME3 gameplay and take advantage of new storylines?

I don’t want to screw up my game so bad it’s not fun or I miss out on big storylines, I just want to see if there are interesting story alternatives ME3 offers.

My theory

SpoilerTheories

Well since we found out the butler did it, I just figured I’d post my now debunked theory.

Bill and Rogan clearly knew each other, as shown by Rohan’s behavior when Bill died. Take that on top of Rohan signaling to someone on that hill and the various articles we saw describing Bill as an “eco warrior” or something, and I thought Bill and Rohan were part of an eco-terrorist group trying to shut down Andy’s AI operation.

When Bill pointed to “faulty programming” in Darbys book, that got me thinking. Before that point we hadn’t seen anybody actually attacked, had we? So I proudly thought I’d put it all together; the eco terrorists had infected the AI with a virus, intending to shut it down

I just finished Gilmore Girls for the first time after a 3 week long binge. I literally no know one else who watched the show so I just really wanted to share my thoughts! Keep in mind this is 7 seasons worth of thoughts bottled up in one post lol. I’m sorry if any of these seem negative, that’s not my intention I just haven’t been able to talk about the topics that make me passionate!

Also, following other sitcom subs on Reddit I’m sure there are things that are way over discussed that may make you roll your eyes, but they’re new to me so sorry!

I put off watching this show for decades because I thought it was a basic mother-daughter sitcom, and the premise didn’t pull me in. Once I star

I feel fucking sick. I’m lightheaded, I feel like I want to cry and throw up.

He just got it on his chest, connecting to his sleeve tattoo. His sleeve was literally perfect, he just finished it and we love it.

I have no idea why he thought this was something I would like, looking at it felt like a dream or a joke. We’ve been together 10 years and it’s never come up, but god I wish it had. I don’t think it looks good, I think it looks tacky and takes away from his sleeve. He was so proud, and then he saw the look on my face and I think it just crushed him that I don’t love it.

I’m trying not to freak him out, he said if I decide I don’t like it he’ll get it covered up but I know he’s hur

A vent about Ashley

SpoilerMASS EFFECT 1

Okay, I just need to vent about this chick. Goddamn.

So I’m on my second playthrough. The first time I played a renegade female so this time I’m a paragon male. I let Ashley die the last time so I figured who better to romance than a character I know almost nothing about due to how I played it last time?

But boy, I do not like this chick lol. I remembered her casual racism (it makes sense for her past I know) but I didn’t remember her strange, “kinda seems like a man wrote this” dialogue.

She tells me a story about her little sister getting pressured sexually, and when I sympathize and say that sounds terrible she says something like, “if the guy didn’t push boundaries I’d think there’s

No disrespect, I can’t expect everyone to remember every detail of 7 books. But what’s your favorite frequently asked question that gets you itching to say, “Did you even read the books?”

Mine is, “Why didn’t Voldemort just have fake Moody kill Harry?”

First of all, the whole point of book 4 was for Voldemort to come back secretly. If Harry was obviously murdered Dumbledore would know who was behind it. I imagine if Harry’s death appeared to be accidental then Barty could have stayed at the school as a spy as well.

Secondly, most of the “Why didn’t Voldemort just” questions have the same answer. Voldemort is a self fulfilling prophecy; Harry wasn’t special but Voldemort “*marked him as hi
