I've always had trouble with military and basically just played the game for the building aspect, until today. I started a fort yesterday, unfortunately I need to set some form of limit since I had almost 200 dwarves.

Here's my attempt at trying to end it. I released 2 forgotten beasts at the same time and my 7 man military managed to take them both out.

I think my next fort will start in an underground cavern.

So since you guys are pretty much my only source for DF I was wondering if anyone ran into or read about this weird glitch somewhere. Version is 31.16, Lazy Newb Pack.

I started a new fort today and as I was carving my entrance tunnel, something weird just happened. Basically the end of the tunnel was finished and as my miners came back to clean up the middle/entrance of the rock that hasn't been mined yet, the game just sorta sealed them in. It's like the entrance to the tunnel just "filled" itself back up out of the blue with both my miners inside it, unable to get out (or for me to see them). It wasn't a cave collapse or anything, it's like I never dug an entrance, but the end of the tun

So I'm working on my most successful fort yet and talk about a major headache. Lost my entire military but thankfully I'm completely walled off.

First this thing shows up and destroys my puny military. Then, not even 5 minutes later these guys show up. Luckily the forest titan was at my front door, so it ended up going right for the goblins. Which resulted in this... But wait! 5 minutes later and there might be some hope! Not even 5 seconds after I un-pause it....
