We’ve all heard the predicted 100m transfer budget number floated around, but (hopefully) it doesn’t account for transfers out.
Taking a look at our players with contracts set to expire in 2024 and 2025, I did my best trying to figure out who might leave this summer. I am absolutely not any sort of expert, I’m sure some are low and others are high, just trying to get some type of estimate. If we move each of these players, we could see between 80-100m come into the club.
Note - I left out MG intentionally due to the nature of the situation.
Anthony Martial 2024 15m
Victor Lindelof 2024 Extend
Fred 2024 15m
Marcus Rashford 2024 Extend
Diogo Dalot
Exclusive: sources confirm a new MLS expansion franchise to be announced in coming weeks, with a tentative date in mid-May.
twitter.com/lizzy_becherano/status/1654525429...Any City fans like myself outside St. Louis that plan on watching?
For my part I’m in Indianapolis, I’ll probably be at Union Jack in Broad Ripple, pending them having the ability to show the game.
Had a death in the family pull us away unexpectedly. Willing to split them up if need be.

Plenty of MLS supporter sections have nicknames (some better than others) separate from their supporting groups such as the Louligans. What do you think ours should be called?
My two personal suggestions:
-
The Keep. St. Louis is the Gateway City - what do you find when you enter the gate? The keep.
-
The Levee. Play a bit with the sloping grade of the league maximum steepness of the standing section, combined with St. Louis as the River City.
Those are my two ideas, but I’m just one dude. Would love to see anyone else’s thoughts!
You may be happy for them, but it sure puts me in a pinch. Where else am I supposed to get my ions?

twitter.com/brydfly/status/142879965810990695...The off-season always seems to bring about a few attempts to idealize divisions based on certain criteria that may not be factored into the current system, but has anyone tried to make the worst possible division alignments?
Here’s my humble attempt:
Texas/Florida Division: Dolphins, Buccaneers, Jaguars, Texans
-The Cowboys are in Texas? I’m sure they’ll understand. Isn’t that right, America’s team?
Northern Division: Seahawks, Vikings, Lions, Patriots
-Nothing like a coast-to-coast division rivalry.
California Division: 49ers, Rams, Chargers, Raiders
-Sorry Raiders, you can’t escape.
-2 awkward LAR/LAC “neutral” matchups per year.
Mover Division: Colts, Browns, Ravens, Cardi

While directed toward future St. Louis fans, this is a great breakdown of MLS for anyone interested in the league.
