In my previous post, I was having latency problems while trying to record in Reaper using my Line 6 Helix LT as the interface. I tried fixing it with the manual offset as suggested in the comments of my post, and I got the numbers to all look good. BUT! I get no sound of any kind. I can see I'm getting signal, and I've got everything set up like it has been for a while, but no sound is coming out of anything (my guitar, metronome, zilch). While the latency was goofing things up before, I at least had sound :/
tl;dr please help me before I truly lose my marbles here.
p.s. All of this happens regardless o
Bought a Line 6 Helix LT and am trying to record in Reaper. I did everything on the sidebar, and no matter what I do, the audio of what I've recorded starts just a little early when I play it back. Like when I'm playing with the metronome enabled, it starts on the and-of-4 rather than the 1 (very loosely of course, but you get the idea). You can even see the wav being just a little before the click in the grid after you record it, even though it sounds spot on while recording. Any help at all is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
So I read a recipe wrong because I'm a big ol' galoot, and now I have 1 packed cup dark brown sugar, 2 tsp cinnamon, and 1 stick unsalted butter all melted together (though it's no longer melty at this point due to my fridge). What can I do with this ratio of these things? Thanks!
...is it recommended? I'm making a holiday hoska for my father-in-law and I don't wanna goof it up, but all I have available right now is active dry even though all the recipes I see call for cake yeast. Thanks!
I've got a head of broccoli, a head of cauliflower, and a bag of carrots. Soup is the first thing that comes to mind but I feel like there's something more inventive I can do. Thanks a whole ding dang ol' bunch.
Greetings! I make a damn fine loaf of white sandwich bread, but every time I try to make whole wheat, rye, whatever else, it never comes out quite right.
I welcome any and all tips and/or recipes. Thanks!
I've gone through the manual but it's greek to me. I'm specifically looking for how to add tremolo to a guitar sound (if that's even possible). Thanks in advance for any and all help!
I realise this is a long shot, but:
I lost my wallet at Edgewood Rd HyVee today. Simple, plain black, cheap leather. If you found it, I'd love to have it back. You can even keep the money that was in it. I just want my personal items. A few sentimental things and such. Again, I know this is a total long shot but if you're on here and you see this, message me and we can work something out. Thanks.
Update: HyVee had it after all! Someone turned it in yesterday, but the employee put it in the wrong place. The gal this morning opened a drawer at random and there it was. Even still had all the money in it. Thanks, honest mystery person!
Got a good lookin' chuck roast out for dinner, but there has to be something other than just the classic roast with veggies to do with it. Lay your ideas on me!
I told my wife to order candied fruit peel so I could make houska bread for her dad, and she got me about 6 times as much as I actually needed. What else can/should I do with it? Thanks!
Fact 1: Blue cheese is the superior dressing.
Fact 2: Every single recipe I've tried for making it at home ends up being super thin.
Where is the elusive non-watery blue cheese recipe? Please help me r/cooking, you're my only hope.
Edit: So I tried the recipe shared by u/SingAlongBlog. I didn't have 3/4 cup sour cream, so I did half sour cream and half buttermilk for that element of the recipe. Just checked it again today to see if it had gotten too thin after sitting a while and, guess what? IT'S FRIGGIN PERFECT. Thanks gang!
Edit 2: I just realized my typo in the title. This will eat at my soul for some time.
