Hello

I've been researching some options for my parents to extend wifi to their cabin guest house and get the yard coverage decent. Wireless bridge is the only option to the guest house, so I think I've got that sorted with the nano loco station(https://store.ui.com/collections/operator-airmax-devices/products/nanolocom5).

I'd love for the access points in both the guest house and in the main house to be the same so that the wifi connection is seamless between the two. A few people have suggested UniFi access points(https://store.ui.com/products/unifi-ac-lite?_pos=1&_sid=9dc79d53a&_ss=r&variant=27263896769), but I'm wondering if that's gonna be beefy enough to reach the yard if

Hello,

I'm looking to help my parents set up wifi at their cabin so that it reaches the guest house. It seems that burying a cable is the best solution, but I'm not sure they'd be up for that since they already buried power and water lines last year (bit of an oversight not doing the internet at that time).

Ideally this would all be done on the same network (e.g. you can be connected to wifi in the house, walk to the guest house and not have to reconnect).

It seems to me that something like this is the best solution: https://www.amazon.com/Ubiquiti-Bundle-NanoStation-Outdoor-airMAX/dp/B01EBBKVDE/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&gclid=Cj0KCQjwyN-DBhCDARIsAFOELTnvf5rKD4FS36gZnKKThZJmYI4nzEwTWmFDLjz

Is there a way to buy this right now? Seems like the only options for custom player jerseys that I can find are the white kit (which is on sale, so I may go with that anyhow).

You can't preorder a player home jersey online through the black and blue store, but can you get one if you go inside? Don't really want to do that, especially if it's gonna be like 150+

Final project is a beer rating web app. Here's the video (ran over time, but so it goes). Finished it awhile ago, but finally got around to doing the video.

I started cs50x after the cocktail bar I worked at for 4 years closed in March due to covid, and then closed forever in May. I'm now in the midst of a full stack software developer bootcamp, which I'll be finishing in February, and hopefully will have a new field to traverse!

Thank you to the cs50 staff, and to this wonderful community for all of your help during the tough weeks of this program!

I was just about to start week 8's lecture and I realized I'm really going to miss these every week. David talking at 2x speed, sometimes I'm barely even able to keep up.

This course actually inspired me to enroll in a local bootcamp, so I'm hoping to pursue this as a profession. Thanks for the wonderful resources and inspiration, David and co! It was a wonderful way to use my extra time after being laid off.

Hello,

I recently built a new PC. The motherboard is a b450 tomahawk max, and it has a usb-c port on the I/O (as well as several usb 3.2 slots).

I've tried charging my Samsung s10+ using both usb-c to usb-c, as well as usb 3.0 to usb-c, and neither provide true fast charging. It says on my lock screen "Fast Charging", but the time frame it gives indicates extremely slow charging.

I'm wondering if there is something I'm overlooking that could help me get true fast charging while my phone is plugged into my pc. When I initially plug it in on the usb-c to usb-c, it gives a fast charging time estimate, but within a second, that disappears and gives a longer time estimate.

Recently built a pc with a 2070s/3600 as the base, and I got a 144hz 1440p monitor for my primary/gaming monitor. I used a different, slightly worse 1440p monitor as my 2nd monitor, which was obviously great, but returned it for $ reasons.

I've recently purchased the AOC 24G2 as my secondary, but now I'm having second thoughts on it. I think I'd rather buy a slightly nicer 2nd monitor for more $$ with the idea of upgrading the hardware in my pc in the future. Does adding a 4k 60hz monitor as my secondary workspace/browsing/video watching monitor make sense? Will I see a performance hit gaming on the main monitor?

Anyone who has a similar setup that has any input/opinions would be warmly

Wondering if anyone knows of any volunteering opportunities right now that are construction/repair focused? My dad is bringing back a grip of tools from the cabin and is hoping to help out in hard hit areas if there's a need. He's not a professional, but he's done a lot of construction on various homes throughout the years as well as rebuilding the cabin.

Thanks in advance for any help people might be able to provide.

Hello,

Just built a new pc a few weeks ago. Luckily, the only issue I've come up against so far is that I can't get my time to properly sync. When I set time/time zone automatically, it makes the clock in the bottom right correct, but then times in my apps (mail, messaging apps) are all 1 hour behind. If I set "adjust for daylight saving time automatically" to "on", it makes the time inside apps correct, but the time in the bottom right is one hour fast.

I've tried everything listed here: https://windowsreport.com/error-occurred-windows-synchronizing-time-windows-com/

Maybe I should try them again? Or is there something that I may have done to address this that is causing me trouble afte
