Morning y'all!

With the election coming up, we clearly need to remind folks about the rules regarding both civility and misinformation. They're in the sidebar. Go read them.

I had to wade in on a post yesterday and tell people that, of all things, post-birth abortions aren't a real thing. I just can't believe people genuinely think they are.

Deliberately attacking people for their views, spreading false information, and trolling in particular will be much more likely to get you an immediate ban during election season than they might otherwise be. None of it is okay. Just don't do it.

Evening!

I'm a Boise native, but have never actually been to a bar of any kind. I'm in the mood to park my ass somewhere with my book and have a couple of drinks, so I'm looking for a place that tends to be quieter. At the very least, somewhere I won't run into screaming kids.

I'd love suggestions. The quieter the better, though I realize it's the weekend so my mileage may vary.

Good morning! This sub was recommended for this question, so here I am. One of my mom's friends is a crafter who uses a wheelchair. While it is the type that can lift itself up and down, she's still limited in reach by her crafting tables.

She's converted a spare bedroom into her crafting domain. One wall is taken up by the closet, which she is able to use to store some things on the shelf. A crafting table and a dresser occupy two other walls, with a sewing machine next to the dresser. I mention this because while her chair can lift her up she still can't reach out across the table or dresser, so vertical storage really isn't an option.

Currently, she has a few

I didn't see anything about this in the last several days, but it just became an issue for me as of roughly 9AM Mountain Time today.

When I'm reading a conversation either directly in a sub I moderate or viewing a previous comment by tapping a reported comment in the mod queue, there are no longer any mod options. The shield icon has completely left the building.

I can still moderate the post. Turning mod mode on or off when viewing a post does add or remove the shield icon on the post itself. I just can't do anything with comments in the Android app, unless I'm using the action menu in the mod queue.

Is this a known bug or did something change and I didn

I never pass this thing at a time when I can stop and get a closer look. You see it driving south on Five Mile at Bridgetower, between Franklin and Overland. If looks like a blown up Game Boy chess board.

Don't suppose anyone knows what it is?
