This is a game I used to play on the family computer with my mom. It featured a man who had long gray curly hair and spoke in a deep voice. The goal of the game was to restore his collection. Each level was different, one I remember was a search in the dark level where you moved your mouse around until the beeping got more rapid. One of the collection pieces I remember was a Bwa plank mask, that was red and black. I can't remember any other pieces very clearly.

I think the mans name was Roman, he looked vaguely like Isaac Newton. He sat in the center of the screen, and when you gathered all the pieces he'd say thank you.

I'm starting a paper on grit in middle schoolers, and i've been finding a decent amount, but the literature doesn't seem to be as common as when i've done research on early childhood education in the past. I was curious if anyone has found a paper or metanalysis on the amount of developmental studies by age, age-range or grade level. I haven't had much luck myself, but i'm also not exactly hunting for it.

It feels anecdotal to say that most research focuses on early childhood (0-5) but leaves behind middle schoolers/ preteens (10-13), but I feel like I see a lot more people in my program aiming for early childhood then older kids.

QMHP in Georgia?

Advice/Career

I can't find anything about a certification for this in Georgia. But a bunch of jobs want one, so clearly it exists somewhere. Only information I've found is a handful of reddit threads stating the Texas requirements, but I can't find any for Georgia. Help

Graduating soon, but got into 0 PhD programs (Probably bit off way more than I could chew). I'm going to look into a Masters program next time fall admission season rolls around. In the mean time, I'm looking for a job so I can pay rent and not starve. I see ABA stuff pays really well but I've also only heard really bad things from both the literature and other autists in spaces I'm in. Everything else either requires an additional certificate/ certification of some kind or pays 14 dollars an hour. Located in GA hoping to stay near Atlanta.

My friend and I went to geekapalooza and absolutely lost it laughing at this one woman who told a wonderful deadpan version of the "One chemist orders h2o" joke. I can't for the life of me find a line up or list of the performers. I want to know if she has other shows or at least an account we can follow her on. Anyone have any leads?
