I think this is just anxiety speaking but I’d love to hear your perspective. I’ll be gone for ten days next month. I have a family member dog-sitting in my home for me but she works odd hours. So my 10 month old puppy will get have to wake up at 4 AM for a bathroom break + breakfast, then go back in her crate until 10 AM (it is not safe for her to free roam inside the house yet, and she can’t settle outside if it anyway), then an hour long walk + play session, followed by more crate time until 2:30pm. After that she’ll be walked again and have dinner and be outside of the crate until night time. She is fully crate trained and house broken, and can hold it comfortably for long periods of time

I love my puppy but she never stops moving or getting into stuff or counter surfing or enticing me to play with her by stealing stuff (such as my glasses). She’s 9 months old. When can I expect her to settle down a little?
Good day.
I have had my poodle since February. Picked her up at 9 weeks old. Since then she has had all the usual puppy milestones, but one thing that hasn't changed is that I cannot leave my apartment unless she is asleep. This goes for something as quick as taking the trash out or dropping off recycling in the basement. Today I had to bring a package that was mistakenly delivered to my unit down the hall to my neighbor. My puppy screamed the entire time I was gone. I'm talking, full-throated howl-screams, like she is being attacked, and it was very loud even with the door closed.
She is crate trained and has two nap periods: one in the morning (9-10:30) and one in the afternoon (1:00 to
Kindly go park it in your ass.
I have a Macbook, and so far I am unable to connect the MicroJournal Rev. 8 to it. When connected via USB in Drive Mode, MacOS does not even register that it is a drive. When connected as a bluetooth keyboard it, it connects, but the hotkey (ESC+DELETE) to transfer the text does not work.
Has this only been tested with Windows PC? Does anyone have a workaround I can use?
Thanks!
Like, I don’t even believe the comments were made by people.
Hi!
I work from home and now after having my poodle since February she freaks out if I leave the apartment without her or otherwise break her schedule by leaving when I'm not "supposed" to. If I put her down for a nap (in a covered crate) first I can leave, and I can stay gone for 3-4 hours without issue. I have a camera that tells me if she's barking and she never does if I time it right.
I left her in doggie daycare as an experiment last week and workers informed me about her constant whining/yowling she was doing for the first 2 hours. So this means she definitely has some separation anxiety, I guess.
Here is the issue: at the end of september I have to leave town for two weeks. A fami

She'll smell something in the grass that activates her prey drive, I think, run around in circles, then lunge at me and very viciously bite me on the hand or arm. She has a naturally soft mouth so it doesn't hurt too much unless she hits a nerve. She's never broken skin doing this. She does this with her other parent as well.
Looking for ways to mitigate this, or prevent it from happening ever again.
To be clear, 99% of the time she is a normal, calm dog. She plays with other dogs just fine and loves showering strangers with puppy love. This only happens when she gets really excited and she only does it to us.
Thanks!
Sick of the litterbugs in my area. Think the city will ever do anything about them?

reddit.comHey, so, for some reason just getting eyes on my stuff is a struggle. I regularly post stuff on various short story subreddits, on fiction websites, on my own website, and on social media. I send stories out to magazines that still accept submissions. I give physical copies of my books away to people. I pay for advertising on Amazon and Facebook, sometimes just to advertise the free stories on my website. (Please note that this account is not tied to any of my fiction writing so as to not get suspended for self-promotion.)
The only ratings and comments I have ever received are from ARC review services that I paid for (fully above board: the reviewers receive nothing except a free book to re
This is a habit we’ve been trying to kick since we got her. She loves people and wants to jump all over them when she meets them (we’re working on this too) but she also dribbles a lot of pee while this is going on. Obviously not ideal for when our friends come over for a visit.
Is excitement peeing normal for some dogs into adolescence? She otherwise has normal bathroom habits and can hold her bladder for 8 hours.
I have one big category with all my movies in it - this is how Jellyfin saw fit to organize my movies. I thought "no way this is how these developers would do this" so I did some googling.... and yeah, every post I come across here in this subreddit with others that were just a smystified as me has redditors commenting to 'get the collections plugin'.
So is there really no way for Jellyfin to auto-organize based on genre or other metadata?
