please talk me out of getting newer oem rims for my 2014 liberty/legacy gt
reddit.com/gallery/1k8ee1jIm planning to replace the timing belt on my 2012 (2013 facelift model) subaru liberty 2.5gt as it is nearing 170000kms. After research I realised the gates brand should be avoided (the only brand available in local shops) and the brand aisin is recomended instead, but the problem is that I don't believe aisin made any timing belt kits spesifically for my liberty let alone sell parts in Australia. I've seen the "AISIN TKF-005 Engine Timing Belt Kit" whenever I search up cars with the same ej255 engine (2012 wrx, or 2012 legacy gt) and i'm able to get it internationally off amazon for a pretty good price. Are there any differences in the engines between international legacy/liberty and same
I bought an omnibook with the ryzen ai 9 hx375 but have waited to open it to see what was announced at CES. From what I understand the new AMD apus are either much better in performance but would likely disregard efficiency (ai max) or apus that claim really good battery life but compromise performance (ai 7 and 5). Would this mean that the hx370/375 are more or less the best middle ground between efficiency and performance?
I'm going to use the laptop for comp sci at uni and will use it for light gaming at times so a balance of battery life and performance would be ideal.
I have a 2080ti and 12700k in my PC at the moment and have been using 2 24" 1080p 165hz monitors for a few years now. I've recently started doing sim racing stuff albeit not competitively, and more so just driving around maps and doing street races in Forza and asseto corsa. But I still play single player and shooter games where 1080p has allowed me to play at higher settings with 165+ fps.
I've decided that I have 2 options;
-
get a 3rd 1080p monitor (same model as the other 2) so I can run simracing with the 3 monitors and use a single one to play my other games at 1080p and have headroom for high settings and fps.
-
Replace one of my current 1080p 24" monitors with a 27" 1440p (around
I'm thinking about buying a pair of crusher evos but I plan to use them wired with aux. From what I understand, in order to use them wired and with the bass slider I need to plug them in with aux and then also power them on which uses the battery for the bass. This would mean that its basically wired right (no latency)? I'm fine with having to charge them as long as it has no latency and I can use the bass slider.
Im not in any hurry but I've decided that I likely won't upgrade anything from my PC anymore and just outright replace it with a laptop when they are more powerful. My current pc has a rtx 2080ti which is already outperformed by current laptop GPUs, but how long will it be till the 12700k is outperformed in general performance? Some very high end laptop cpus slightly beat the 12700k so I would assume anywhere from 2025 onwards maybe?
