Hello,

I have a 10yr old female greyhound (ex-racer, spayed at age 4). For the last few weeks, she's been having sporadic but recurring vaginal mucus (clear to slightly yellow/white, very stringy). First trip to the vet, a free catch urine sample was tested and I was told there was no issue. The mucus continued, so I brought her back a couple of weeks later and this time a dipstick test was positive for nitrates and she was prescribed amoxicillin for a UTI. She completed a 10 day course (though she threw up the last dose) and all was clear for a few days, but then the mucus began to return.

I'm bringing her back to the vet tomorrow and think she should have a cystocentesis and complete uri

I know plastic is prone to scratches, but I genuinely think there would be a decent market out there for selling clear acrylic PC case panels to replace the tempered glass we all love to meme on. Hell, you could even use different colours of clear plastic (including fluorescent) for all the RGB fans.

Aside from the scratches, there might be some other potential downsides. I found an article that compared thermal conductivity but it seems pretty minor compared to the overall airflow in the case.

Are there any existing companies that do this? Honestly I'd be keen to buy one to have on standby just in case I drop my panel one day.

Will call the vets to get an appointment as soon as they open tomorrow morning, but just wondering if anyone else has experience with this as it seems unusual.

Female greyhound, age 10 (spayed at age 4), for the last few days has had very sporadic instances of clear to slightly cloudy mucus appearing from her vagina. The first occasion, I confused it with saliva and thought she'd just been "cleaning" herself but the next day I noticed a similar looking discharge after she'd gone for a pee (I clean her with a dog wipe after she pees/poops to help prevent UTI's). I was going to take her to the vet the next day but then everything was fine for a day or so. This morning I spotted another bit of

I’ve just ordered a TC100 chair (wouldn’t normally buy a “gaming chair” but it was a steal with a discount) and I plan to replace the caster wheels with solid bell glides as I don’t really want to be rolling all over the shop.

Does anyone happen to know the diameter of the metal insert plugs so I can order the feet for when my chair arrives?

cheers!

I have a a gorgeous greyhound tripawd. She turns 10 this month and is over one year post op, having had one of her rear legs amputated as the result of an old injury from when she’d been raced on dog tracks.

She’s adapted incredibly well and although her walks are shorter these days, we still do two 20-30 min walks every day.

The main issue is she seems to get very unsteady whenever she stands still. Her remaining rear leg starts to shake like she can’t handle the weight. She’s fine when she’s moving, but standing still for more than a few seconds makes her seem very uncomfortable.

Is there anything I can do to help? Any particular exercises or physiotherapy that could help strengthen the

All text (channel names, video titles, comments, UI labels etc.) has vanished from YouTube in the Orion browser since the last update. Have tried disabling all extensions but the issue persists.

My coworker was tinkering with one of our PC's (testing some SDI converters in the PCI slots) and had to remove the GPU for access. Problem is, the PC case is a tight fit and he had some trouble slotting it back in again. Rather than ask for help, his solution was to remove the fan shroud to reduce the profile of the card (despite the fact that it fit in fine before).

I've seen plenty of deshroud mods where the stock fans are replaced with some Noctua fans (or similar) to improve noise and temps but couldn't find any info on whether it's safe to run the GPU with just the shroud itself removed. Does the shroud offer any benefits to the card for cooling, or is it purely aesthetics/RGB?
