The birds were taken from Bethany Lakes Park, where they've lived for more than a decade, and the person who took them was caught on camera doing it.

A license plate in one of the pictures led police on a literal wild goose chase over the weekend.

Because the birds are domestic geese and not a migratory species, the City of Allen said no laws were violated, and because the geese weren't injured, no charges will be filed.

So Frisco is reducing speed on many of the roads.

Not a good news for Plano; all those 1,200 assholes are going to converge on Plano more often.

https://www.localprofile.com/news/frisco-texas-changes-speed-limits-8411533

The council approved to change Cobb Hill Dr (Frisco St. to end of the road) from 30 mph to 25 mph; Cotton Gin Rd (Dallas Pkwy to Short St.) from 40 mph to 35 mph; Legacy Dr (US 380 to PGA Pkwy) from 50 mph to 45 mph; and Town & Country Blvd (Spring Creek Pkwy to Legacy Dr.) from 35 mph to 40 mph.

Fields Pkwy, which didn’t have an official set limit, will also have a speed

In an effort to lower the speed and volume of drivers in Plano’s neighborhoods, the city is looking at adding traffic calming measures, at the request of residents.

Perhaps this will discourage the hoards of 1,200 souped up muffler ratting losers from congregating around town. Put speed bumps on every traffic light stops.

This is primary season.

It is Texas, so if you get the 'conservative' Republican nomination, you are elected. (Texas just like Communist China is one party system, Lol).

So, now these conservatives are fighting each other in the commercials.

I am more Christian/Conservative than you.

You are communist liberal.

I love Trump more than you.

etc.

It seems if I buy to close the option then sell the the stock shares, the capital gains for tax purpose is much less than just let the option expires.

Am i missing something?

Thanks

(example below)

Rolled SPY covered call after SPY went way up.

The base cost for SPY was $400.

SPY call is 3/1/24 at $420. The current cost is $76.

Because this option was rolled several times, the current capital loss for the option is at -$2000.

Here is the question. let the option expires, the capital gain:

(420 - 400) * 100 = 2000.

76 * 100 = 7600

so, capital gain is 9600.

If buy to close the option, the capital gain:

(assuming, SPY price is 495 at 3/1)

(495 - 400) * 100 = 7500
