Recently I've been getting little freezes several times a month, even early game when it was super smooth. So is there like a log I can look at that will show what the game is doing that might be causing lag? If its a mod I can probably fix it or remove it, and if its vanilla there might still be a solution.
I saw a post here where someone else had the same issue.
So if you build the waystation trade hub district that gives trader jobs it also increases waystation limit by 6% per 100 jobs. You can generate trade and as many waystations as you want. I have 6k effective jobs which gives me 83 waystations.
So what exactly does "arcship action speed" affect? Does it make collecting from waystations faster?
So if CPC is meant to be compatible with FOAN is there a reason the Soviet BMP has AT 10 and the desert nations BMPs have AT 12? Seems kinda odd but maybe its just for balance? Did the Soviets sell off all their good BMP ammo lol.
Does anyone know if there is 15mm AMX 10RCR models out there? I swear I saw one once, maybe a kickstarter. 3d printed is fine also (I don't have a printer otherwise I could just use a file, found several of those).
Pic for reference (its the one with extra armor on the side rather than the normal flat sides)
Hello, I recently got Regiments (which is quite good) and heard Warno is very similar. The main reason I got Regiments first is because its on sale for ~$25 for the game + DLC while Warno is ~$100 for the game + DLC.
So first question is which DLC are needed/good? I'd rather not get all of them right away if possible, so if they are all good maybe a general ranking or ones that are must have?
And second question, I know there is multiplayer but can you set it up as co-op? I would probably mainly be playing with my brother.
Well Checkpoint Charlie has been released and I just finished looking over all the options. But I couldn't find where the other nations they mentioned were, I was hoping to see what France and Sweden had (I need AMX 13's). Anyone know when or where they were being released or is there no info yet?
So today I was doing a game with my brother and I was assaulting his infantry with mine. He had a helicopter with an autocannon within 8" and was wondering if it can do defensive fire. I think it can't but can't actually find anything in the rules that says it can't. Obviously it can't use missiles because of minimum range. And obviously it can't assault or be assaulted.
So did I overlook where in the rules it says helicopters can't defensive fire? Or maybe an FAQ. Not that it doesn't make sense tbh.
Is it better to go with as large of platoons as possible (10) or have more smaller platoons (like 5-6). Pros and cons to each? Bigger groups would be less likely to make moral checks but smaller groups you could spread out more to get flank shots. Anything else I am missing?
Would 1 max sized platoon and a few smaller ones be worth doing?
Also I noticed some of them get more expensive in bigger groups, like T55 and T62. T62 especially doesn't seem worth getting in large amounts as the points go from 2 points per tank to 3 points per tank. Any reason for this when the rest of the tanks stay the same price per tank for 5 or 10?
Overall I really like it but I do have a couple complaints.
First is buildings, area specific buildings only being able to be built in their zones is fine but I think the more general ones should be able to be built anywhere. If you use an urban (trade) zone then you get 5 building slots which is mostly fine (1 is for the capital or it would be 6) but if you don't use an urban zone then you only get 2, one of which basically has to be for amenities. That leaves 1 slot for a lot of buildings that you really want.
My suggestion is let a lot of the buildings that don't need to be zone specific be built anywhere (robot assembly, storm shelter, monument, etc). Maybe leave some of them as capit
Does anyone have a recommendation for a mod that has a small house that also has planters (inside or outside doesn't matter), it seems like most of the small houses I find don't include those. Alternatively is there a mod that lets you place planters? The one I found seems to be badly ported from LE and requires a rather large mod I don't want.
Worst case is there a good guide for making a mod that adds planters?
I was using SSEEdit to change some stuff with spells and noticed some costs were changing and others weren't. So do I need to use creation kit to change spell costs? And if yes is there anything else that is better to use the creation kit for in regards to spells?
It seems to be general consensus that destroyers are either mediocre or bad. I've been thinking about this for a while, and their status hasn't changed in a very long time (possibly as far back as when they could mount lances). So what do y'all think would making them worth using? More hp? More evasion? More speed? Extra PD slots? Bonus stats (in addition to what the default computer gives) like range, tracking, damage, etc. How can they be buffed to be worth bringing but without making them just better than corvettes or cruisers.
I've tried a little more evasion but idk if it makes much difference and too much makes them take over corvette role, same with giving them too much more speed.
