The OB I met with today told me that my c section would be considered “elective” instead of “planned” even though I am on blood thinners and was told they needed to schedule when my last shot was taken so I could be given regional anesthesia.
Has anyone else been told this? They’re really trying to convince me to go for a planned induction but if I truly have the option for a “planned” c section versus them booking it as an “elective” c section then that’s how I want it noted. (Trying to avoid getting rescheduled/cancelled) She also mentioned not all the partners at my office are willing to perform elective c sections and that she didn’t think they’d send over the paperwork to schedule a
