This is coming from a place of admiration, enthusiasm and not at all from judgement.

At ~58:00 of S05E05 with Roger O’Sullivan Generic Man #3 sure had “Guinea pig hairbrushing with a toothbrush” and “somebody put a tea strainer on a raccoon’s head to somehow help it” on deck pretty quick…

My lovergirl video go-tos used to be people returning from away and pets going apeshit with joy, a category that shrunk quite a lot after seeing Katherine Ryan’s takedown of the form, found here.** **

A friend was riding front seat passenger when their friend’s car was rear-ended by a wealthy father and son on November 11th of last year. The perps offered them 100$ each to not pursue insurance.

The damage made it obvious they needed to involve insurance, at which point the fuzz spoke to the involved son and then decided to do a breathalyzer on my friend. He failed. The son claimed he had been driving but no CCTV has ever been pulled.

He was scheduled for his citizenship ceremony late last November after having to never see his family or leave Canada (despite having brothers and his grandfather die in that time) as a refugee for political persecution in Türkiye as diaspora from Russia/

This gave me an understanding of how Epstein slithered away after initial trial. The way children were painted the perpetrators of criminality despite overwhelming evidence otherwise. This gave me the details I needed beyond “oh he was tried but yada yada you know it’s complicated”.

It’s not complicated - these are children. Not “young women”.

When you encounter adults saying a baby is a flirt, that a child’s buddy must be her boyfriend, when a preteen must want the attention of adult men - call it like you see it. “Wow - that’s a an infant/child”

This is long, they always are. Worth it! I promise. It’s pretty jarring so ensure you’ve got the capacity before listening.

For those with assets at risk or dependents to care for I understand the "look on the bright side" approach can feel like a slap in the face. If you feel at all resistant to re-framing I would skip this post. I am experiencing poverty but the only mouths to feed are my cat and dog who are thriving - frankly. I've stockpiled for them when I knew the wheels might come off last year, I'm home more and the dog gets snowy walks instead of boring car rides.

Like so many of us at the kill line, there was a perfect storm in August; a breakup, a car too expensive to fix, illness. I’ve been making ends meet creatively and ventured to the food bank once - it’s across town and I’ve just got a backpack

In our Independent they have these faux-wood cheeseboards wrapped in plastic in the deli with 4 crackers, a handful of walnuts and cranberries/raisins, then what I assume is off cuts of Brie, blue, and some sliced cheese I think is a deli alpine/cooked pressed cheese. I’ve been working nights after a breakup trying to keep up on bills, and at the end of each shift I’d stop and get one for half price, an EXCELLENT deal for half of 7$. I’d go to my garden and for a bike ride and that would be my food for the day.

Last week I was surprised that the full price had almost doubled, now 12$, and the portions were smaller. Three crackers, two dried apricots, and the weight of the cheese made it no

Hey everyone! I'm L69 and really into the city-scaping aspect of the game. Especially around L40 or so, I would spend a lot of game time arranging my city just so, it made me miss games like RollerCoaster Tycoon, Simcity, etc. Love it.

Around that time I set up the most beautiful little farm by the waterfall, with a wee home, a little beachfront campsite with a treehouse and trailer for the implied supervisor of the nearby otter and duck farms. Everything is tidy and cute, but I decided at that time to put off more than 2 milk and egg farms, I have 1 each apiary/wool/(reluctantly)pig farms. I have two feed mills nestled into the whole complex, lined with hedges and just lovely as heck. I f

My partner is the driver in a duo for a small local company who is contracted by Costco etc to deliver appliances. They have 5 cube trucks and the job is to drive around 500km a day (return) and delivery/obtain confirmation paperwork for installations and drop-off deliveries. The business does not do deductions, so we're responsible for those in Ontario, Canada, and he is paid a flat daily rate regardless of if he works 7hrs or 14hrs. I've had my doubts, but this job means he's home (often very late) in the evenings, as a benefit.

He deposited his weekly cheque today and I got the notification on my phone. It was 50$ short. We have rent and two bills going out Tuesday (after an unexpected

A dorky anecdote:

My partner is Circassian and has a regional Russian accent. I quote the show pretty often, but mostly the subtle nonsense, often incorrectly. It’s just part of my vocabulary after 20yrs. My car seat’s hot and I burn my back? My eyes! Seared like tuna steaks! He shows me something new at the grocery store? …Put that back. If asked if something is mine I might say to myself “yeah, is one of them…” which leads me to Ronnie.

Darling man totally pronounces “sheep” like ship. We visited a farm last year and I was joking about the sheep for my own amusement, trying to explain that ridiculous scene-also Ronnie. I worried it would offend him, but it lead to us watching the show t
