So I bought an Acer Nitro XV272U about a week ago. Today, after a 30 minute Zoom meeting, I started getting some image retention. It faded away after some time, but I'm wondering if it will get worse/happen more frequently over time.

I did some research, but can't tell if I should just return the monitor and try my luck with another.

Here's what I do know:

• Turning Black Boost off helps: I originally had Black Boost set to 5, and now it's set to 0. I'll keep it at 0 for a few days and see if it happens again
• Some people said using sRGB mode caused this issue: Can't say this is my issue because I didn't set it to sRGB mode :(

So from what I understand, the 2000nxs phase meter has two sets of (orange and blue) blocks to assist in beatmatching. But only one CDJ will show two sets of blocks on its screen, while the other CDJ screen only shows one (blue) set of blocks.

What decides which CDJ will show both sets of blocks on the phase meter?

Would love to figure this out firsthand but I only get to spin on CDJs for an hour every other month :(
