I made a cake on Sunday that I wanted to bring to the office on Monday, but overnight my partner and developed stomach issues. We ate completely different foods all day, so I can only assume this was caused by some infection we both caught instead of being food poisoning. I ended up calling in sick and put the cake in the freezer. I though I could just bring it when I'm feeling better, but now I'm not sure if I should - could the cake have gotten germs on it from me?
