Do you have any proven program that I can use to encrypt a private folder on MacOS, and that will allow me to decrypt and read/write data on Windows and Linux? I'd prefer not to use additional intermediary tools like FUSE-T for this encryption program.
Does anyone know if there's any work being done on improving page translation in Firefox? I haven't seen any news about it lately, and I'm really interested in a Polish translation. I know there's a local translation on PC, but it's very mediocre, so I use an add-on to use Google Translate. However, on iOS, there's no Polish translation at all, and I wonder if it will be available anytime soon.
Is there a plan for a native Luna app for macOS? I only use Safari; I don't want to clutter my system with other browsers (Chrome/Edge) just to use one service. I'd love to play games using Luna, and I'd even be willing to buy Luna Premium on my Mac, but the only thing that limits me is the lack of a native app for it. I think it's a bad idea to make such a service dependent on competing browsers. Please consider creating your own app for Luna on macOS (and other systems).
Are there any purists who use the Apple Magic Mouse with its default settings (without changing any settings) as originally configured by Apple? How do you find using this mouse? What are your impressions and experiences? Do you really like the way the cursor moves around the desktop?
I know that using the Magic Mouse is different from using a traditional mouse (this approach is a common mistake among people switching from Windows to macOS). How should I use Magic Mouse correctly to feel comfortable using it (I mean moving the cursor, not gestures)? Do you use a specific type of mouse pad?
Please don't write about other mice or how this mouse is "bad."
What motivates you to use macOS and Apple computers instead of Windows and PCs? Are you comfortable with hardware and system limitations? Are you comfortable with the lack of PC expansion options, the very limited number of native, large games, and the mediocre support for peripherals like monitors, keyboards, mice, etc.?
I own a powerful PC and a Mac mini M4 512GB/32GB, and on Mac I feel terribly limited, while on Windows I feel I can do and run practically anything I want. Windows immediately encourages you to upgrade your computer with new components, provides extensive support for gaming, and all peripherals work as they should. Therefore, I'm very curious about what motivates Apple use
First off, please don't crucify me. Even though I’m about to drop some critical thoughts on my experience with Linux—specifically Fedora—I want to make it clear: I actually love and respect it. I’m glad Linux exists (and by "Linux," I mean the distros, not just the kernel). I respect the open-source philosophy and the fact that so many brilliant people pour their time into its development.
Despite what my title might suggest, Linux has evolved massively since its inception. In some ways, I think it has actually outpaced Windows and macOS. Yet, there are still moments where that progress feels invisible. I suspect the reason is that as Linux evolves, so does the underlying hardware.

Does macOS display the same image as Windows 10/11 at a native resolution of 2560 x 1440 on a 27" 109 PPI monitor? The image on Windows is satisfactory to me and I have no complaints. If the image on macOS is the same or very close, I think I should be satisfied. Has anyone had a direct comparison of a 27" 1440p monitor between Windows 10/11 and macOS? I'd appreciate your opinions and observations. I realize that 4K and 5K monitors will look perfect with Retina display (scaling) enabled, but in this thread I'd like to focus on the 1440p monitor I already own.
I'm trying to install (a completely clean install) Fedora 43 Workstation (GNOME) on my desktop computer, using a USB drive, to test how it works before making a final decision to upgrade. I've installed the system three times and encountered the same system performance issue each time.
So, after installing Fedora 43 and updating it, I'm installing the NVIDIA driver for the RTX 5070 graphics card according to the instructions on RPMFusion. I should also note that after installing the drivers, the system adds the MOK key for secure boot in UEFI. The entire installation proceeds without any problems. Only after restarting the system and loading the GNOME desktop do I discover that system progr
I don't know if anyone has noticed this, but on statcounter.com, when you change the graph from line to bar, the percentages change with the same settings. For example, while Firefox shows 3.87% in the line graph, it shows 5.62% in the bar graph. The changes appear in all browsers. In my opinion, this undermines the credibility of this website when it comes to statistics.

I'm having a dilemma choosing a browser. I have a Windows 11 PC that I use 90% for the internet, gaming, and work. I have a Google Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel Watch 3, and an Acer Chromebook (as a backup computer when I don't feel like sitting at my desk, which I rarely use). This is the hardware I use for the remaining 10% of my "digital life": calls, texts, and the internet.
The bottom line is that Edge and Chrome are very good, and both meet my expectations and requirements (except for privacy). I'd like to use the same ecosystem, but Microsoft doesn't have its own operating system on mobile devices, and Google doesn't have a true operating system on high-performance PCs. Now I'm wondering which
