Hi there!

I have 2 XBOX controllers, one with a damaged cover that keep falling off and one with none. I was looking for a way to find a replacement but can’t find any good and cheap sites.

Does anyone know of a good site, and what to specifically look for? These are the standard XBOX one controllers with BT and removeable AA batteries.

Also, looking for thumbstick covers.

Hi

So I saw this mod on Nexus a while ago and though it would be cool to add it into my ME3 playthrough. In ME1 I chose to save Ashley and would’ve found it funny for Kaiden to suddenly appear in ME3 being like “hey i didn’t die onscreen so i magically survived”.

However I feel like this has been ruining my game a little bit. Atleast with the other mods I have installed. For example, in the Ashley medbay scene my femshep suddenly had a maleshep voice. And I just got to the hospital scene for Ashley and for a few sentences my femshep did not have a voice (nothing audible).

I’ve been suspecting that this might be due to this mod, but also, I’ve kind of changed my mind about this mod now tha

Hello

So I've bought the KTC M27T6 MiniLED 1440p HVA Monitor around a month ago.

i've never been able to consistently feel like I'm getting the black levels that the games & movies expect. I feel like this is because of the black equalizer setting.

KTC sets this standard to 50, however, this looks pretty washed out in my opinion. Lowering it makes the washed out effect better, however I feel like it significantly crushes blacks.

Not to mention the difference between SDR & HDR, should you have different black equalizer values for both?

What am i doing wrong? What values should black equalizer be for SDR & HDR on this monitor? It feels like instead of black equalizer being a dumb featu

Hello! I'm going to run a stacked monitor setup to preserve some more horizontal space on my desk (like for my speakers).

However, I'm trying to find the most optimal tilt angles for both my bottom and upper monitor. The bottom one is a 27inch whilst the upper one is a 24inch. I'll add a picture to the post of how I've currently done it in 3D, but I'm unsure if it's the most optimal or if it could be better. In the picture the bottom one is at a 5 degree angle, whilst the upper one is at a -20 degree angle.

Also, please do not post "don't use stacked monitors" comments, because I'm expecting someone to make them.

Hi

So I've been on a quest to find a new monitor to replace my aging Alienware 1080p monitors, and came across great reviews of the Q27G40XMN. It being Mini LED really appeals to me as I'd want to use the monitor not just for gaming but for work from home too (so alot of static images). In my opinion, no other monitor on the market currently comes close to what this monitor offers and with what I desire. I don't want a 4K monitor, as I know there are 4K Mini LEDs out there that are good as well, as I want my 3080 to last a bit and not immediately struggle.

I know it has a sibling in the Q27G3XMN, but the fact that the Q27G40XMN stomps it with 3x the dimming zones is honestly embarrasing

Hi everyone,

I'm currently working on my thesis titled:
"A Case Study into Distributed Technical Inventory of Linux and Windows Devices"

As part of this project, I’m setting up a proof of concept (PoC) using VirtualBox to simulate a small environment with both Linux servers and Windows servers. The goal is to build a configuration inventory that automatically collects the following data per device:

  • Operating system info (version, build, installed patches)
  • Installed software and their versions
  • Network configuration (open ports, active interfaces)
  • User accounts and access rights
  • Active services and processes
  • Firewall and security settings
  • ...

My initial idea was to use
