Hey ladies, Just wanted to say thanks for all the support on this forum. I have successfully completed a year OE. I started with a contracted role last December that ended up being a nightmare. Then landed another role and things are much smoother. I had 3 roles at one point and that was insane. I was just offered a full time role at J2 and so now I have 2 full time W2 jobs that are in completely opposite fields. I have been able to do so much for my family and our home. I'm looking forward to paying off buttloads of debt this year and working towards being debt free so I can go back to just one job. I'm so glad to have found you all and to have made this decision. Fingers crossed things con

Hi Ladies! I'm currently in a contract role as job 2. The opportunity has been given to me to apply to an open full time potion on the team. I of course would have to update my resume to show this role and arbitrarily end my Job 1. My Equifax is frozen.. what are my risks? Should I apply? Otherwise the role will end in a few months. It's a decent job, kind of some annoying meetings but I've been managing the last 5 months. up to 120k. Thoughts?

Probably a good problem to have but with my resume out there I get a lot of hits from recruiters. Mostly they are easy to ignore, low pay, travel or in office. But, sometimes one will catch my eye and I find myself preparing for an interview. So far they have fallen flat (no response or job is on hold) but should I just take myself off these job sites and quietly keep my 2 jobs? I have this "what am I missing" feeling all the time. Can anyone else relate? What do you do, ignore or entertain new roles??

Just had to share. I have been trying to leave J2 but my recruiter convinced me to hold out until the end of my contract even though I knew they were actively trying to replace me. I went ahead and applied for and secured a job 3 and started recently. After pulling off my first day of 3 jobs I got a text from the recruiter that evening that the filled my role LOL. Can't say I was shocked and glad I was prepared!! Still don't know when my end date is but I surely won't stressed about keeping up appearances on that role.

Hey all, I'm getting anxious. I unexpectedly got offered a J3 so I'm scrambling to Freeze my TWN.. (yes yes I should have done this sooner) I haven't accepted yet so hoping to draw it out. BUT I requested the initial freeze on Thursday but have not heard back with the secure email to send the freeze documents to. Can someone confirm how long this part took? Thank you!!

J2 started off OK but fast forward a month and this place is a mad house. The person who hired me has been fired and I have like zero support. They are expecting DBA work from a Systems Analyst. I'm like in panic mode all day because I keep getting asked things of me I'm not capable of supporting. How do I get out of this?? Do I run?

Hey all! I've recently picked up J2 and it's going well. I'm in EST and they mostly all work in PST. J1 is all over the country so my time zone has never been too big an issue. What I'm running into in J2 are others contacting me or scheduling meetings with me at all hours of the day. I'm a consultant so technically, I set my own schedule, my supervisor and hers are all fine and respect my schedule. My question is how do I politely remind others that I'm not in their time zone and can't be available their hours with out sounding like I'm not willing to participate? Thanks all!

Hey all, I have full time J1 - W2 and just took on a contracted role for J2. I haven't out right said I've not left job 1 but I've left it pretty vague. Question is for those out there in a similar situation: Do you invoice 8 hours every day? It feels odd and so far I've not done a lot of work for J2 but I'm online and available for 8 hours a day. Thoughts?

Just started J2 and it's seemed pretty low key. There is an ongoing project and the consultant immediately recognized me from J1. What do I do?? Should I let it go or reach out and ask for her discretion? I feel like both ways could back fire...

I have a potential J2 at a university. It would be a staff position with their IT but paid hourly around 150k. It will be project heavy in the beginning, with 25-50% meetings, then hopefully drop to one daily stand up, weekly team and one on ones. It sounds like they all like to stay in close contact though. I had an initial interview and they seemed to like me.

My current J1 is very low maintenance. I go days without getting a single email directed at me. Meetings are rare. I support the system and troubleshoot user issues, put in updates and enhancements as needed. It's about 125k.

I'm looking for opinion if this sounds like a good opportunity for OE. I'm a little hesitant with as meet
