I have four 17” wheels I would like to get powder coated, those of you who have gotten your wheels done, where did you go, and what’s the going rate these days per wheel to get it done? Thanks!

Breaks my heart to hear this about the little truck that couldn’t.

How much is Cybertruck? Like $120k? $140k? I’m sure there are a few CT owners who can drop $140k on a vehicle and not even flinch, regardless of what they buy. But most people in the US don’t even make close to $140k/year in combined household income, and having read “moving some things around to make it work,” how many of them will be financially ruined in the near future? Are these CTs going to become the next repo queens like the Escalades of the 2010s?

The ones who clearly don’t have the net worth to play this game, I wonder how they will cope financially.

My biological mother died in 2012 in I presume somewhere in Taipei, she was 62 years old. For reasons I would rather not get into, I cut off all communication with her in ‘85 when I was 10. I also don’t have any contact with her family, and my grandparents from that side, unless they lived to be 110, are dead.

Is there a way to look up/retrieve a person’s medical records in Taiwan after they’re dead? I live in the US, and I want to see her medical history for my own health’s sake, and to see what my kids need to watch out for, if there are any hereditary conditions that might pass onto them. I have three tires that are almost new, but they didn’t belong on the truck I just bought, so I swapped them out. Rather than taking them to the dump, I would like to sell them, as they are practically new with more than 90% tread left on them. If you know of any tire shops in town that would buy used tires, please let me know. Thank you!

I think my 96’s rear sliding window track is probably really dirty and has never been cleaned before. I just bought the truck this month and I’m slowly going through each problem area and fixing what needs to be fixed.

What’s the best way to clean the track (if that’s even possible)? Sorry, I’ve never owned a truck with rear sliding windows.

I dropped the ball and forgot to make a run to the dispo, luckily I still have some edibles, so that’ll be the plan for tonight. Can’t decide which movie to watch after the gummies kick in, The Big Lebowski, Pulp Fiction, Dazed and Confused, or Breakfast Cub 🤔

With 5VZ, automatic, 223k miles. Body is straight, paint is faded up top with clearcoat peeling. The only issue I can see in the engine bay are valve cover gaskets are leaking, couldn’t tell if oil pan gasket is. Interior is clean except the driver seatbelt doesn’t retract. Frame is clean with no rust, truck is located in California and the frame looks like it’s been in Cali all of its life. I’m fairly certain this was used as a work truck/daily driver.

Owner posted for sale for $5200, dropped the price down to $4900. I offered $3800, based on what I listed above, is it a decent deal? Thanks!
