Welcome to r/Laffstr.

This community is for comedians, comedy writers, open mic performers, producers, hosts, and anyone trying to get better at the craft and business of comedy.

Laffstr exists to help comics do more than just “go up when they can.” We’re here to talk about writing stronger jokes, building better sets, finding stage time, getting booked, marketing yourself, creating clips, building a fan base, and turning comedy into something with momentum.

You can post about:

• Joke writing and set-building questions
• Open mic lessons and stage-time wins
• Booking and gig strategy
• Comedy marketing and social media
• Show production
• Press kits, bios, flyers, and clips
• Comedy care
