Some questions about this upcoming show, any solid info or reasonable guesses much appreciated:

I think it was originally unclear as to who the opener would be. It appears Jimmy Vaughan is on, "plus special guests TBA". Any clue on who/what to expect?

Do we assume the special guest(s) will go before JV?

Any idea on how the schedule will play out? (Like, how it times out if there are two openers vs one?) I know the approx times have been posted for recent shows, but I think those had two openers(?), if that makes much difference. Also not sure if things run a little differently outdoors vs in.

Will there be consideration given to the air quality situation (from the Canadian wildfires)? It

Do any of you have experience with putting "window cling" or "static cling" or "removable vinyl" type "stickers" (that don't have sticky stuff) on guitars? The material is really made for glass, but I'm wondering whether it's a good alternative to actual stickers. I'm not a "stickers on guitars" person, but looking to recommend something clean for students, or that I might use for a guitar in a play, or whatever. If left on for a long time, do they come off cleanly (sun tan aside), or do they eventually have an adverse affect on finishes? And/or: do they not stay on very well in different climates, stage conditions, etc? I can think of some other alternatives to regular "stickers", but I'm w

If you could only listen to one of these options for the rest of your life, which do you pick?
A. Music made in the past (let's say through 2025)
or
B. Music made from 2026 and beyond.

I know this can get picked apart (new covers of old songs, and other situations that mess up the concept), but generally speaking, which would you opt for, and why?

(Maybe this discussion has come up before, but a quick search didn't show anything like this recently.)

How often do you cover your grill? Only if it will be shut down long-term? Whenever you're not using the grill for a few days? Something in between? Curious.

I've generally not used the cover much, but thinking I might start using when rain is expected for a few days.

Thought I'd post regarding something I just ran into:

In the chorus of the Pretenders song "Brass In Pocket", there's a chord that slightly defies our conventional use of chord symbols: Bmin/G. Not that this is harmonically complex; it's actually the simplicity of the rock/punk/new-age style that makes this what it is.

Under normal circumstances, the notes B, D, F# played over a G bass/root is Gmaj7. I'd normally consider Bmin/G to be a dubious name for a chord. But in the musical setting the band creates, the chord (to my ear) is clearly a Bmin...like, for certain...but the bass player chooses to play the note G. I just can't write Gmaj7 on a chart for this when the sound/presentation, is

Hi:
Does anyone know of a free metronome app for Android that will play simultaneously with Spotify?
All the ones I've tried kill the Spotify audio when turned on, and are silenced when play resumes in Spotify.
I've seen one for iOS, but can't find one for Android.
I know there are apps/tools to automatically determine BPM, (or let you tap the tempo), but that's not what I'm looking for.
