After more than 20 rounds in 3 different states, BIG RED took his final swings today. His life began in Indonesia and ended in Athens, TX. There were good times (great drives, chip-in’s, birdies). There were rough times (so many thinned or chunked shots). The topped drives and OB adventures aren’t what those who knew him will remember. He was at his best patiently waiting on the green with my putter head cover, cheering me on. Those are the moments I’ll reflect upon. Those were the days the sun shone on us both. Godspeed my red friend. You were good!

I usually wait for a glove to fall apart, but this Callaway glove has put in at least 20 rounds (maybe 30) without giving up. At this point, we have a relationship. I’m loyal to the S.O.B.!
