Hi scouts,
Just a quick announcement post highlight some things that have changed during the offseason.
First, the draft prediction contest isn't dead, I just lost the email password for that for a while. I have it back now. No worries.
Second of all, we'd like to remind you about the subreddit-affiliated Discord Server. Even though it's the offseason, there are still people posting scouting takes from summer league and highlight reels from college games. We may add custom roles and flairs in the future for members of both.
Third, we're still looking for royalty-free sidebar images, so if you do happen to come across
[Charania] Sources: Suns have traded Zhaire Smith and 2021 Miami first-rounder to 76ers for Mikal Bridges.
twitter.com/ShamsCharania/status/100996747711...[Woj] Clippers will send the 12th pick and two second-round picks to Hornets for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, league sources said.
twitter.com/wojespn/status/1009959183159095297[Woj] Atlanta and Dallas have agreed to a deal, league sources tell ESPN. They'll trade Nos. 3 and 5 picks, sending Luka Doncic to Dallas and Trae Young to Atlanta, sources said. Dallas will send Atlanta a future first.

Spoilers ARE allowed, but posting fake news and reports is still against the rules. Rumors are allowed, as long as it is made clear that the report is a rumor, with a credible source.
Note the the subreddit rules have changed. Reddiquette rules still apply, but we've limited the types of posts that will be allowed for the next 12 hours or so. For more info, check out this post.

Hey scouts,
Many of you may remember this game from last year. We received over 60 entries, so we decided to bring it back this year with a couple of slight changes.
This may seem a bit complicated at first, but bear with me. This is a Round 1 draft prediction competition, a little mini-game to see who can correctly predict the outcome of as many first-round picks as possible. You may only make one type of prediction per pick, and you may not select a player's name for more than one pick. Scoring will be as follows:
For Picks 1-30:
You may make one, and only one of the following predictions for each pick. Use the format in the example.
- If you correctly predict the player
As you guys may have noticed, we’ve added a couple of new mods over the past 24 hours. Welcome u/Short_Bus_ and u/GuacamoleFanatic! We’re hoping that a larger mod team will allow us to deal with the increased traffic as the draft approaches nearer.
——-
In addition, the prediction contest that we ran last year will be up soon, with modified rules. Likely within the next couple days. So stay tuned for that.
——-
And, as always, we will be restricting new posts from the start of the draft for about 12 hours. More info about that will come later.
——-
Edit: We have yet to decide whether we’ll be adding additional mods. I’ll update this post if any more join.
All discussion about the drawing itself and reactions should be limited to this thread. Posting any GM/player/coach's reaction as a tweet, for instance, should be posted here.
