Mal was anderes als Politik.

Have you ever pondered about the nature of the Tenement? Because indeed it is in a very strange position. Its position, environment and the intended amenities are all very strange.

Its location practically is on an island with only one foot entrance. The island being surrounded by high metal fences, now decayed. No direct way to access the Trade Road Metro station, which would be a selling point for any commercial real estate. The Tenement further stands alone on a large amount of land, which could support at least two other tenements of the same type.

The amenities it is supposed to include are also all rather unconventional for a tenement in this district. You have a spa area with a prop

Consider this a short guide on getting sober, or at least not getting worse.

To stay brief, I categorise addictions into four phases, Low, Medium, High and Very High. These levels of addictions have different forms of expression and treatment.

  1. Low: Every time you do something addicting you land on this level, but you may not notice it. If you drank some more to stave of a bout of poor mood or smoked a bit for whatever reason you land here. Treatment is simple. Don't indulge it as much or at all. It goes away on its own way before the Need Moodle hurts your Mental Health.
  2. Medium: Medium starts when you cannot stall not indulging your addiction before it affects your Mental Health. In

I dealt with my initial addictions well, became sober, no longer a smoker and just lived my life. I then wanted to try out mushrooms, so I drank 0.1l of Green Mushroom Extract and I gave myself an addiction. It's not debilitating, I just smoke Excellent Mushroom Rollies, but I want to quit, but my Rollies are too good. Drinking my Mushroom Moonshine wasn't the best idea with how distilled Alcohol gives you discordant music.

The game is very sparse in detail about telling you what any single non-flat Renovations actually does, especially in gameplay terms, which makes it difficult to know what to actually strive for. This is an incomplete list of what I encountered in my first game. From worst to best.

Every non-Flat-specific Upgrade: They don't affect apartment value at all. Renters don't pay more and the only increased revenue potential is from renters it is a requirement for.

Yard 1: You lose an easily accessible garbage can as an option.

Basement Sauna II: It provides a clean shower and a respawning garbage can. Don't know about Sauna I, because I skipped it.

Quite frankly it is a (financial) waste of time to develop the Tenement outside of a few exceptions, like access to the Mines, maybe space to place more equipment, and access to certain basic amenities, like water and showers for your own personal use. The vast majority of this money sink, that is the Tenement, is essentially without purpose, especially anything regarding to renting out flats. Even at the lowest level of renovations, doing so will provide you with revenue that takes many months to recoup. For anything beyond, this it takes literal years to just break even.

Broadly, the renters are divided into people than require little and renters that require an expensive baseline, but ne

You can import Captives you can then specifically enslave, which then allows you to finetune your particular form of slavery. You can even go full on Slave Coast and export slaves by tyrannising your population by exporting criminals, dissidents or just random plebs.

This update is one of the history books, but probably not a section you want to show up in. Garthimi Slaves for everyone!
