I don't know how common this experience is, but my parcels tend to spend days in a warehouse to suddenly at 10am one day "it's coming in 2hrs". I'm pretty flexible normally, but there's no way I can plan around that. If I'm home, I'm home. If I'm not I'm joining the queue at the post office.

In the Netherlands they leave it with your neighbour. In Japan you nominate a day for them to try again. There's obvious risks and costs, but if they fixed tracking and estimation so it wasn't just "somewhere, somewhere, somewhere, literally on the truck to your house" it would be so much better.

If you know you won't be home for something, it would be great for them to give you a window where you can

Anyone know where I can get an ~80yo Seikousha pendulum clock restored in Perth? The cardboard face is cracking and flaking off, hands need straigtening or replacing, and the clockwork needs a service. I assume the springs at least would need to be replaced.

It works, but not for very long and only sort of. Bongs are slightly early (although I think this is due to the minute hand being loose), and it just bonged four times for 9 o'clock. No idea what's going on there :D

I have seen a few posts in various places relating to this, but I think I've exhausted all the troubleshooting guides and answers.

Problem

When using remote access, I can view content for maybe 30-90sec, but will always halt playback and kick me back to the selection screen (where play/resume button is).

Setup

PMS app running on Truenas Scale, so something along the lines of K8s -> TNS -> Switch -> Gateway.

• Opted out of CG-NAT.
• Truenas configured to expose app port to host.
• Port is forwarded and verified with canyouseeme.org.
• Consistent green "Fully accessible outside your network".

Monday, Day 1

I find myself cast away upon this strange and wild island, a place unlike any I have ever known. I am alone, save for the beasts that roam the land and the spirits that dwell within the trees. I have built myself a small shelter, the beginnings of a home in this forsaken place.

Tuesday, Day 2

I have ventured forth and discovered a rich vein of coal and iron, deep within the earth. I have spent the day in labor, gathering as much as I could carry. I have also built a furnace to smelt the ore and fashion it into tools. I am filled with a sense of accomplishment, but I know that there is much yet to be done.

Hi All,

Apologies but I'm hoping someone can give me some useful advice. I spread my natural treasures about the place and meditated on "I consume the books" but felt not even the slightest tremor in my soul.

The next thing I tried was following my fear. I followed it around, pointing out amusing situations and dialogue from the series until my fear disappeared into the void, won't return my calls, and has since taken out a restraining order.

Apologies, I need to go. My wife stepped on one of my treasures and I'm in trouble.
