Before anyone asks, the reason for downgrading is that I listen to a lot of "gapless" albums and Ex gapless playback doesnt work any more.

I am really struggling to justify the 1.1 billion per year upkeep it would cost me for a FC. I dont really understand what they can even do for me. I can park all my ships on it, and jump 500Ly at a time, which is a neat QoL if it cost 100 million a year, but not really worth it for 1.1 billion... I could just pay for the transport of ships at this price.

There doesnt seem to be a way to passively make money from a FC. I see people set buy orders on them but theres thousands of FCs all doing the same thing and I know I personally filter them out of the contacts list anyway. So I cant see buy orders being profitable enough to cover the costs.

I went looking for new paint schemes for some of my new ships and I cannot believe what theyve done with the Arx system. Back when I last played simple colors were around 650 Arx if I remember right, but now its impossible to buy just one. You have to buy an entire pack that contains many different paints? Frontier, you know I can only use one paint, right?

So its not enough that I pay real money for your fake money and inevitably have leftovers, meaning Ive overspent from the moment I started... But now I need to buy even more Arx so I can buy 4 paint schemes I dont want, just so I can get the 1 scheme I do want?

Jameson Memorial doesnt stock any of them. I found a free Lynx Highliner in the Arx store, but the others are not available there. I thought some of them would be sold in-game for credits by now. Is Jameson Memorial not OP as a home base any more?

I cannot figure out why, as my account is an adult (and theres no way to verify that as far as I know). The adult filter button is greyed out and cannot be changed, and the song lyrics toggle looks clickable, but is not. Does anyone know if these can be changed via a save file edit or something?

I just got VR and remembered NomaiVR existed, and holy crap what an experience. Even getting into the ship blew my mind, in 2d the ship feels quite small and cramped, but its actually the size of my living room? And its like... 4 or 5 meters tall maybe? Crazy stuff.

I need to play this game again. Obviously theres issues with that after youve beaten it for the first time. So Id really like to try a randomiser mod that makes you explore everywhere again. Does it work with VR though?

I notice that DeepFreeze adds a new tab for its life support pods. I also use Snacks and its always bothered me that the Snack parts are scattered at the bottom of the Payload tab, where I can never find them. Id love to make a little patch adding a new "Life Support" category that combines the parts from DeepFreeze and Snacks, including hydroponics and soil recyclers. Is this possible without getting into in-depth C# plugins? I wasnt able to figure out how DeepFreeze is doing it, but I dont have CommunityCategoryKit installed
