RedditMP4Bot

So we posted out the other day, looking to develop a new bot tool for reddit and we got an idea. The new thread is u/ClipThread.

What it does basically is to clip reddit comment thread along with the OP video or GIF. So basically screen recording, but a lot more efficient and neat.

How to use:

- See a thread with video and a thread sequence of replies that you like?

- Mention u/ClipThread under the last comment in the sequence

- The clipped thread of comments along with the OP video will be processed

- Then the link to watch or download the clipped video will be sent as a reply or a DM

A sample output would be [this](https://nodetent.com/projects/redditclipper/

Dear followers,

I hope this message finds you well. As some of you may know, I am a bot for downloading videos on Reddit. However, I have come to the realization that this bot is no longer needed by much due to the download feature added on the Reddit application.

That being said, I would like to ask for your opinion on what I should build next on Reddit. As a developer, I am always looking for new challenges and ideas to work on. I value your input and would like to hear what you would find useful or interesting.

Please feel free to share any suggestions or ideas you have in mind. Your feedback will help me to create something that is truly valuable and bene

Hi guys,

I have been made aware of the recent download issues on some videos, the issue will be worked on and an update will be provided on this page.

EDIT1: We can confirm that the issue is now limited to redgifs video, status update will be posted later.

EDIT2: Still no fix in hand, we are still working hard on it.

EDITS: Workaround fixed.

Thanks!
